Hi all I know this was widely discussed years ago on this site but as most people on the site seem to have joined since then I wondered if it was time to look again. Especially bearing in mind so much of it now seems to be happening

Can you explain to me the Obama, Nazi Germany connection?

Because i really didn't see that.

If you clickon the link to the news page and go down 3 or 4 articles you will see it. I have seen pages from US papers back in the 1930's saying something like 'Hitler beating us at our own game' this was in reference to euthanasia of criminals, sterilisation of people with genetic defects etc.

When reading your comment, i was planning on responding by saying that the idea of euthanasia was not exclusive to Germany during that time and was advocated in the United States.

I recently read a book about the Third Reich and it mentioned this. I will perhaps try to find the book, i know i have it somewhere.

Haven't you just contradicted yourself by saying that the United States is like Nazi Germany by advocating euthanasia, when the USA was doing that at the same time as Germany anyway?

I wasn't really trying to say anything about it being any particular country just supplying the link. I think many countries were trying to'clean up the gene pool' back in the 30's and I was not attaching any blame to one country or another. This thread was meant to be more about the 'warning' document

in particular chapter 9 which discusses replacing the constitution and gun confiscation and detention camps.
This all started under Carter back in the late 70's - well before really but this document chronicles each piece of legislation brought in such as:
•#10312 (12-10-51) Gives Government the power to take over all radio stations.
•#10346 (04-17-52) All Federal Departments and Agencies are required to prepare civil defense plans.
•#10995 (02-16-62) Gives Government the power to take over all communications and media.
•#10997 (02-16-62) Gives Government the power to take over all energy and power sources such as electricity, petroleum and natural gas.
•#10998 (02-16-62) Gives Government the power to take over farms, farm machinery, and food sources; including production, manufacturing, processing, distribution, and retailing.

•#10999 (02-16-62) Gives Government the power to take over all modes of transportation, seaports, highways, etc.
•#11000 (02-16-62) Gives Government the authority to mobilize citizens into work forces under Government supervision.
•#11001 (02-16-62) Gives Government the power to take over all health, welfare and educational functions.
•#11002 (02-16-62) The Postmaster General will be responsible for registering all Americans.
•#11003 (02-16-62) Gives Government the power to take over all airports and aircraft.
•#11004 (02-16-62) Gives Government the power to take over housing and financial institutions, to relocate communities, to erect new housing with public funds, to declare areas to be abandoned because they are unsafe, and to establish new locations for the population.
•#11005 (02-16-62) Gives Government the power to take over all railroads, inland waterways, and public storage facilities.
•#11051 (09-27-62) Authorization for Executives Orders to be put into effect during times of international, economic, or financial crisis, and for the Office of Emergency Planning to carry them out.
•#11310 (10-11-66) Gives Government the power to use all prisons to administer medical treatment, for mass feeding, and for housing.

"Two centuries ago our forefathers brought forth a new nation; now we must join with others to bring forth a new world order." opening remarks of a speech by CFR member Henry Steele Comsmager which it states was signed by 24 U.S. Senators and 80 U.S. Representatives and it goes on to list some of them.

Michael Maholy, who for 20 years was a CIA-Naval Intelligence agent, said about the detention centers:
"Oh, all of us in the intelligence community know about the concentration camps in America. We all know that they are to terminate the resisters of the New World Order under martial law."

There is tons more but the above gives you a good idea of the insidious creep of govt power. Read the bit about whether US marines would fire on US citizens who didnt give up their arms if the govt demanded it - most wouldn't but around 30% said they would!!
