Are there any plans to put TinWiki into other languages? What would it involve to translate/write an article in another language, much like other wikis do?

I was thinking last night that there are many ATS members that know languages other than English and maybe that could be utilized to spread TinWiki into other demographics and further expose the work done by ATS members to "netizens".

I think that is a good idea, and the The UFO-Alien Applied Linguistics Registry could be a good place to look for translators.

That UFO linguistics registry is interesting. I'm still reading the thread, but, did that ever actually get going?

If we are able to get TinWiki.org in other languages, I think it would be better to have actual people translate as opposed to the Babelfish or Google Translate as, often times, they translate word for word and it doesn't make sense sometimes.

It has been used several times.

Whenever we need a translation we just need to go there, see what members talk what language and ask them for a translation.
