Let me look at this mathematically.
21 million Iraqi.
One Saddam Hussein.
Now I see the problem.

21 million against one is not fair.
The 21 million need help.
So we send a few Americans to do the job 21 million can't.

Make sense?

Same is true in any country, anywhere, at anytime.
No government can remain in power without the will of the people because a nation is not built by government, but by people. How many governments are there in this world that have no power and make laws that apply to no one?

The last three, the American, the French, and the Bolsevik Revolutions were over the rights of the citizens.

Wouldn't it make sense then that men in any age, any country would die fighting for a government they can live under rather than live under a government where they have no rights?

21 million versus one? I'd bet even money at least one of the 21 million would have survived.
