Indonesian cleric blames CIA for Bali bombing

An Indonesian Islamic cleric linked to the three extremists awaiting execution for the Bali bombings said Thursday the 2002 attack which killed more than 200 people was the work of the CIA.

He said the attack was a conspiracy between "America, Australia and the Jews" and the three convicted bombers -- Amrozi, Imam Samudra and Ali Ghufron -- had been framed.

This is not to be confused with the Jakarta bombing that just happened, but still the 2002 Bali attack and the Jakarta attack might be linked to each other, infact they are, both the attacks are said to be done by the same group Jemaah Islamiyah

But now we have a cleric saying that the Bali attack was done by the CIA. Then it could be a false flag from the US govt, and so could the Jakarta bombings be false flag attack from the US.

These 2 attacks were Indonesia's 9/11 and if 9/11 could be a false flag then the Bali bombings could be too.

I remember the late Joe Vialls called both the Bali and the first Jakarta bombing Israeli/American jobs and had two great articles about those that are still around the net. That the Australian intelligence community knows wouldn't surprise me the least bit. S&F.

Now obviously the CIA is not unknown for this kind of behaviour i.e Cuba, the WHOLE of South America and Central America, Italy just after WW2 to prevent the rise of the Communists, Vietnam 'Phoenix Programme', Cambodia.

People tend not to equate people on the payroll of the CIA as part of the CIA, so when such things as the Contra-Iran scandal comes to light they can just claim ignorance and papers such as the New York, Los Angles Times can lap it up and shoot down any real investigation, google 'Gary Webb'.

Now whether they were involved in this heinous act is another matter, there would have to be a thorough investigation linking all the characters to the CIA for this to gain any credence. But there is no way this will be taken up by the MSM if any credible evidence was found. Blaming it on the JEWS doesn't help this clerics cause either...

I doubt if there will ever be any investigation for these charges against the CIA. These kind of allegations get levelled against the CIA and the US govt all the time, and see 9/11, was there ever an investigation to find out if govt did 9/11? There was a govt investigation that 9/11 was done by Al Qaeda, and could be true, but IMO, there wont be any investigation against the CIA

True, but there was an investigation into the Iran/Contra debacle headed by Senator John Kerry, and the MSM hardly took any interest even when it was clear the CIA had used drug money to get hostages released in Iran and allowed the Contras to import drugs onto the streets of the U.S.A.

The media in the United States on the whole seems to have no interest in holding government to account. And in particular when the CIA's misdeeds are discovered they are blamed on rogue agents and not actual policy of the CIA pushed by the Administration in charge.

Hopefully this torture programme debacle carried out by the CIA will lead to some prosecution against Cheney and his cohorts, and it seems to be gathering some momentum, but lets be serious, its highly unlikely.

The Bali bombing does bear the hallmark of classic CIA tactics in its organising and perpetration of global terrorism.

The situation and timing was ideal. The Irag invasion was imminent. Opposition to the war by Australians was vocal and in the majority. An terror attack needed to be engineered in order to sway Australian public reaction on side with the war.

What better location to select than Bali, an island paradise favoured and visited by thousands of Australians annually.

The CIA's mode of operation is to infiltrate, set up moles, patsies and agent provocateurs to carry out its insidious programs of terror campaigns. Jemaah Islamiyah fitted the profile of the ideal patsies, fanatical and vocal in its cry to establish an all encompass state of Islam in South East Asia.

So the operation was set. A suicide bomber was recruited to enter Paddy's Pub to detonate the backpack bomb. Perhaps that was all the damage the JI intended to inflict that night. They might not have known, that higher powers have decided the clincher was to be a van packed with explosives(??) that would be the cause of maximum damage 15 seconds later. One that would guarantee fleeing Australian customers, injured or otherwise to be annihilated.

They needed a spectacular event that would find Aussie support for the impending war and this was it. It comes as no surprise that US casualty was minimum, as it would not have served much purpose as Bush already has his hysterical fans.

It is also interesting to note that a much less publicised incident was the detonation of a small bomb outside the US consulate in Denpasar which caused minimal damage. It was also speculated that Americans received prior warnings to stay away.

The second explosion itself is chocked full of enigmas. The sheer power of it was to vaporise victims to beyond a trace. The immense heat that is required to do that does not come from ordinary explosives. Further more, it left a crater 1 metre by 10 metres across. Indeed it has been speculated that a micro nuclear device was detonated, although Geiger counters show zero radiation.

To believe that a group of Islamic fanatics could pull of such a explosion would put you in the same camp as believing a cave man did 9/11.

The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Israeli intelligence - Mossad - have infiltrated Muslim organizations like Hamas in Palestine, Hizbullah in Lebanon and the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) in Indonesia, says an Indonesian intelligence expert.

"It is clear that the CIA and the Mossad have infiltrated such organizations and have done much more than that," Sayed Abdullah, who operates an intelligence services firm in the Indonesian island of Maluku’s, told IslamOnline.net.

"This is how they infiltrated the alleged Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) in Indonesia," Sayed Abdullah said.

He argued that the Bali bombing in 2002 was "an operation clearly financed and assisted by the CIA and Mossad, made use of Muslims to carry out the final act.

"Those Muslims were not innocent since they took the bait handed over by the CIA and the Mossad to bomb Bali and to avenge against the U.S. war on the Muslims in Afghanistan."

The Indonesian expert argued said that "to achieve this, the CIA used one of its operatives, Omar Al-Faruq, an Arab living in the U.S. who speaks Arabic and knows a little about Islam and who was sent to Indonesia to infiltrate the so called terrorist groups.

He said that Al-Faruq initially infiltrated the Laskar Jihad, a group of Muslim volunteers fighting for the safeguard of the Maluku’s during the conflict of the Island.

Al-Faruq was arrested in 2002 by Indonesian police and sent to Washington upon request by the CIA.

He was said to be undergoing interrogation but was never sent to Guantanamo, Cuba where the U.S. keeps most of its terror suspects.

The fact that CIA uses agents provocateur was highlighted in 2002, in a Phillippines hotel room, when agent Michael Meiring accidently blew his own legs off while constructing a bomb. This was intended to be set off in a public place and blame put on Al Queda, in order to forge a closer US-Philippine military alliance.

It was an embarassing caught-in-the-act incident that conclusively exposes CIA's role in staging terror attacks all over the world. Of course, it was a news that was hardly, if ever, reported by CIA controlled western media.

So next time a bomb goes off anywhere, think beyond the the news that you are being forced fed daily. This is a corrupt, corrupt evil world we live in.

It's the same as saying WTC twin towers so-called brought down by extreme heat/fire from plane fuel. How primitive many people can be to believe mainstream media.

But you do agree that she/he is more or less correct though?

There's also a possibility that the bomb used could be the mythical Red Mercury Bomb.

Although this bomb has been widely dismissed as a hoax, or rather, its existence is still shrouded in mystery and widely disputed, it was supposedly created to be used as a sting operation to draw in potential terrorists.

However, Dr. Sam Cohen. the creator of the neutron bomb, believed in its existence. He described it as a pure fusion weapon, a advance neutron bomb. A pure fusion weapon can be be light and small, and has a higher kill range per unit of explosive (ton TNT equiv.)

Best of all, it produces no radioactive fallout. That could account for why the geiger counters at the bomb site produced no readings.

It seems that we will never know, as all the evidence was promptly dug up and now lies at the bottom of the ocean. Kinda remind you of 9/11.
