Judge rules CIA committed fraud in court

A federal judge has ruled that CIA officials committed fraud to protect a former covert agent against a lawsuit.

According to court documents unsealed Monday, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth referred one CIA attorney for disciplinary action. The judge also is considering sanctions against five other current and former CIA employees, including former CIA Director George Tenet.

Personally, it is refreshing to see people who believe they are above the law be slapped in the face by it. Too often we here about politicians or other people in positions of authority that believe they are above reproach. So, here is an example showing this is not always the case.

Fraud is a serious charge when accusations are made by a government agency. To see one get hit by this... as I said... it shows that no one is above reproach. I would love to hear anyones comments on this topic.
