I would like for Mr. Obama to control the Interweb. As a matter of fact, I LOVE Obama. (tastes like chicken) All hail our benevolent leader.

Maybe he can fix it when it's broke. 'Hey Obi, can you reset the router? My network thingy says limited or no connectivity.'

The only way I want him to control it is if he can stop those dang creep spyware trojan things and keep those pictures of naked people from popping up on my screeny thing.

I was just showin the kids how aliens are gonna destroy the world the other day and wunna them half naked people popped up on my screen, doin' all these crazy gyrations, talkin' bout how Obama wanted my woman to go back to school. I hate them things.

But may I ask for proof that he wants to control the internet here?

I was hoping for hard proof but the article was just an opinion piece. I would like to see more substantial evidence there.

Sure we should let him control the Internet -- NOT! He's starting out to be a total screw up and why would we want him tampering in our technology in any way, shape, or form? Give him a video game with a red button and tell him he's controlling the world.

This doesn't surprise me in the least and I was kind of expecting it. This man works in the shadows and he is clever. His mindset is that I'll do what I wish but do so in a way where they will never see it coming. People better get off their rears and see what is going on under veils of glamor and eloquence on the part of President and his handlers. Piece by piece they are going to disassemble everything we know and cherish in this country.

This revelation is truly disturbing because the Federal government is trying to monopolize the free flow of information which is protected by the Constitution. How can we legally get rid of this Czar phenomenon that is creeping its way in government? These goons scare me as well because they cannot be held accountable by Congress for wrongdoing. Essentially these so called "Czars," can do whatever they want and not face accountability for their actions.

I'll ask again.

Obama's internet czar or better know as the “White House Office Of Information And Regulatory Affairs”, Mr. Sunstein, said directly that he wants to implement the “notice and take down” law.

Obama hired him, so he agrees with him. The same way Obama hired the Eugenics guy, or better known as the 'science czar' who wrote in a book that he wants to sterilize the population.

This isn't really a new procedure. The government seems to work hand in hand with the RIAA in doing this all the time.

I'm against this policy myself, but, it in no way means that Obama will control the internet in how it's been suggested that he would in this thread.

Hugo Cahvez was right - this assclown is even further to the left than Castro! Sure, let him try to control the internet. Then I'm gonna sit back and watch as he tries to control the coup against his leftist dictatorship.

The internet czar clearly stated what he wants to do and even gave an example. I don't know what more you need when he is actually saying what their end goal is. Do you need him to come punch you in the mouth and scream his plan into your face?

What more do you expect from a closet commie? He, and his cronies, will do more damage to the freedoms that made America great than any other president. It's clear that he's anti-American, and anti-Constitution.

Really the thought of Obama trying to regulate and monitor the internet is funny. I am against any kind of regulation of information [or porn]. Some how I think the hackers and programmers would have a field day with that notion. It's quite the little kingdom O has been creating though with his barons I mean czars!
