And why are you offended by his comment anyways. That comment had nothing to do with you. Not everyone hates soldiers and I for one love the very few compliments I get amongst the mountains of hatred I recieve just for being a marine. The compliments make me smile and frankly I've had a very hard life and something as small as a compliment can brighten my day.
This was my response;
I said that the life expectancy of gangbangers in East LA is much shorter than than that of soldiers. I also said that only the poor volunteer en mass. Further still, I said that I have no hatred for soldiers.
