A group of freemasons have had to spend a night in jail in Fiji, after local villagers complained they were practising witchcraft.

I found this article very interesting, and it's got me wondering if we're starting to go back a few hundred years in time the age of witch-hunts
etc...
I also noticed that the journalist who wrote the article uses terminology to try and create a feeling that there is actually sorcery involved in the
ritual. For example, old English calls a ceremonial or emblematic staff a "wand", but in this instance, the terminology is used to imply that they
are "magical" wands in the fairy tale sense of the word.
It suddenly occurred to me that anti-freemasonry sentiment is still as strong as ever, even with the world's biggest news providers.
I just thought I'd post this interesting article up, because till now, I really thought that days of legal witch-hunts were over...
