this brings back the memory of the story of the young couple out in the country. They had been out for the night and had parked their car out under a
tree. They had seen a figure in the brush who they thought was a peeping tom, so the man gets out and tries to confront the man. he had not come
back for a while and the girl had fallen asleep and...
cant remember what happened next only remember that his beheaded body was hung up in the tree. This is most likely an urban legend, or just some
wierd dude in a goat mask.

not sure where Baphomet comes from.. maybe someone knows more.
Maybe a Satyr, perhaps not goatlike but a humanoid with goat like horns..

Goatman is covered is Jerome Clark's book "Unexplained" The sighting's of the Goatman, for the most part, have strong evidence. Clark wrote in
his book about some of the sightings. There was one where a couple were at some type of Lover's Lane, or Lookout or something of the type. While
the two were get'n busy, this thing jumps on the hood of their car, and just starts to stomp around and roar. They described it as having the head
of a goat, the torso of a man, and the legs of a man, but the feet were hoof like. They also stated that the lower torso was covered is some type of
scaly skin, kinda like a fish (if my memory of the entry is correct). Apparently the couple got the hell out of there went to the cops, and the cops
are like "yhea right" so they go back up there with the witnesses and they too see this thing sitting up on a ridge or down in a ditch. Now
according to Clark there were several witnesse to this thing at the same time the cops were there watching it to. According to the passage it even
got pissed that they were all gawking at it, so it picks up an old tire and hurls it at them from a good distance away. I think Clark comfirmed this
sighting through some new's papers/police reports from the town near where the thing was sighted. The book Clark wrote is a great read, and I
recommend it to everyone on this sight.

Awesome drawings.
Goatman always reminds me of Fauns. And Pan. And Roman mythology in general.

That was my thought too.
Baphomet, as far as I know is a satanic symbol. However the Bible has no mention of it, so I don't where it originated.

Wiki has a decent article on Baphomet. It's probably a bastardization of Muhammad.
Baphmet
Keep in mind when reading this that the Templars (where the name in popular use comes from) were absolved. After many were tortured and killed,
lands and monies siezed.
The image itself is not Baphomet, but now people consider it Baphomet so... I suppose it's a matter of opinion of whether it is or not.

No, however there is a giant half squirrel/half chicken beast that stalks the lands!
The giant half chicken half squirrel steals either teeth or money from children as they sleep in order to build some kind of giant nest for
its' genetically superior and potentially dangerous offspring.
It is also known that this creature would also have atleast a mild understanding of algebra.
The half chicken half squirrel would most likely be about three to four and a half feet tall.
His large beak is probably detachable and works as a floatation device.
And of us course let us not forget MANBEARPIG!! half man, half pig, half bear!!!
