You do indeed have to make 20 posts before you can post a NEW thread on any of the other Forums, however, you can still post REPLIES to existing threads on other Forums that count towards your 20 posts.

It's just a way to keep trolls from popping in and making one new controversial thread and disappearing, never to be heard from again...as well as to keep away the spammers and marketers.

Feel free to have a look around and dive in head first into any of the existing threads and conversations. You'll be at 20 posts before you realize it.

You can make 20 posts anywhere you like (not just in this forum), but you cannot create any threads anywhere but here (introductions only) until you've made 20 posts in total. Hope that clears it up.

I dont think its a bad policy at all - sorry you feel that way OP. Please make yourself aware of the T&C's of ATS because that is very important to do in order to remain a member - in good standing.

You obviously havent reviewed the sites T&C or you wouldnt have the questions you do. MUCH is covered there and it exists for a reason.

You seem a lil frustrated... I understand. ATS is A LOT to take in at once. But please, so that we may keep you around, become familiar with the T&C's of the site.

We members are held to that - STRICTLY! And thats how we want it. Because these standards allows those less desirable to be removed.

Yeah well, I have the same problem right now but I'm trying to go less aimlessly around I think it might invite new members to reply somewhat useless lines just to get their postcount up

I'm not implying you do but I figure some might actually do it that way.

I am also in the same situation at present regarding the 20 post rule, but i have enjoied posting back to the new members like us just to get a feeel for where and why we are joining.
