Why can't the S**T Hit the Fan? Im tired of waiting around for something to happen. All I hear now and days, is OMG DOOM AND GLOOM, that it pisses me the eff off. So much, the news is running rampant with the whole money crisis, that it makes me sick.

END OF RANT. Sorry I just needed a place to say what was on my mind.

MODS: move it to a different board if this is not the right place.

So when you see SHTF are you going to open a bottle of your finest wine and celebrate? I am starting to see these statements of people wanting for the SHTF more often. What exactly are you going to do when it does?

Somebody somewhere, every minute of every day is experiencing a SHTF moment in their life...and they look up and ask the gods.."WHY ME?"
Don't wish for what you truly don't want.
And the doom and gloom has been in man's nature for centuries..not gonna change the message, only the medium delivering it.

I know exactly how you feel.

Remember when the second Iraq war started and it was televised live? That was interesting.

Remember on 9/11/2001 when the plane crashes were reported all over the television?

Remember the most recent invasion of Palestine?

Plus many many other stories.

They seem like teases to the ultimate SHTF scenario.

I too wait for the SHTF everywhere moment.

Will it not be ironic that when it does happen everyone will turn on their television sets and internet connections only to find out they have been disconnected.

So the utter joy of experiencing the stories of SHTF will be only hearsay from person to person. And or the military post it note on your front door.
If there is a military left that is.

Tragedies, emergencies, and horrific events seem to bring total strangers closer together. So I am looking forward to it. It just may be the cure to the social problem our time has with actual face to face communication.

Lol, so true.

I'd figure people are just a bit too anticipatory for the end to come.

Be prepared have a plan, but don't try by any means to live your life in waiting for it.

Hope for the best, but expect the worst.
