Report: 'No geographical limitations' on CIA assassination program

rawstory.com

The Central Intelligence Agency’s secret assassination squad was allowed to operate anywhere in the world, including the United States, according to a Thursday report in The Washington Post....

...“The finding imposed no geographical limitations on the agency’s actions, and intelligence officials have said that they were not obliged to notify Congress of each operation envisaged under the directive."

With no congressional oversight the CIA was permitted to assassinate anyone, anywhere for any reason, including the US!

First, it is illegal for the CIA to assassinate anyone. It is illegal for the CIA to conduct law enforcement operations inside the US.

According to historian Christopher Andrew, under questioning by New York Times reporters and editors in 1975, President Gerald Ford explained that U.S. intelligence documents must not be revealed to the public because the revelations would “blacken the reputation of every President since Truman.”

“Like what?” he was asked.

“Like assassinations!” replied Ford, who later insisted the comment be kept “off the record.”

Former Governor Ventura also had a revelation when he assumed office and was summarily escorted to report to the CIA operatives in his state.

It IS in fact illegal for the CIA to operate in US territory at all. Yet, not one official, since the organization was established, has dared face the organization's arsenal of "information" they gather. I wonder why?

With this much exposure eventually i will see most migrating to us.

Oh well, like i have said, you're better off making a deal with the devil than being in the same bed with politicians. You knew better, now deal with it.

I don't know why that would be a surprise to anyone. Especially with the past allegations with the JFK assassination. The MAFIA and some corporations or elites have also been said to do that. Doesn't surprise me at all. Get over it and be glad you aren't a target.

You know that is the thing...we should be outraged by these revelations but our brains have been lobotomized.

Yesterday one Senator, I can't recall his name, was really struggling to explain how you can break the law and not be a criminal. It was hilarious! This Orwellian doublespeak! "I am a criminal but I am innocent."

So the most outrageous crimes can be committed in full view and most Americans just glaze over and continue to be "entertained".

This is a real conspiracy that we could, with public will, enforce the law and restore justice. But we remain powerless because we choose to ignore and rationalize criminal behavior among the elite.

We don't know that no-one has tried to go against them.
How many did and joined the list of victims?

Not too surprising, given the fact that GB jr. gave the US Army the right to invade The Netherlands if any American(soldier) was to be trialed in The Hague for war-crimes of any sort...And Minister-President JP Balkenende bent over even more (pretty easy by lack of a spine
)
GB jr. has most probably conjured a likewise international deal for the CIA

I was just doing random searches and found this thread. I know it was written in 09 but wanted to chime in. By the time you wrote this Executive Order changed certain "laws" and the Agency has been and still, from that pointed, allowed to conduct operations CONUS in coordination with the U.S. Attorney's office and FBI where appropriate
