Be afraid? Of what? You betcha' by golly Sarah? Yes, I'm sure that she and Rush Limbaugh will make a great team. After all, he is "the greatest political mind of this century" according to you. In th efew years of this century, he has never held political office so you should amend that to say "greatest unrealized political blowhard mind of this century." God made Rush to be President and then he made Oxycontin, lil' gal.

Really? No one said you had to be in politics to play politics!
You should be wary. I do think Palin will have a positive effect on politics!

Not like it really could get worse then all the change we've had in less than a year!!

There are too many better candidates for the GOP. Sarah dug herself a deep hole by not finishing her term and the Dems will go right after that. Apparently the VP candidate would be very important because POTUS Sarah could cut and run at any moment. She talks tough about being a pit bull hockey mom but she has no spine or work ethic. Some pit bull. Maybe she meant a beagle hockey mom or lounge lizard hockey mom.

I can't imagine that the GOP would invest the time or effort in trying to rehab her image. Her resignation was a surprise to them and made them look like thay had no idea what was hapening with their VP candidate [they didn't because she didn't warn them]. If she had wanted to play presidential candidate in 2012, she should have started by finishing her term as Governor and then by getting the education she so obviously missed.

Yeah, the Dems wouldn't be able to handle a hot president. They'd just hate that. That's what America needs right now: a hot president who doesn't take to being pushed around by anybody.

She'd be able to do more in a single night than Obama and the rest of the communists have done in seven months.

If the socialist communists who aren't hot didn't cheat and stuff the ballot boxes, then America's problems would all be fixed by now because, damn, she's so hot.

Seventy-one per cent of Americans think she's hot.

Yeah, her pastor seems pretty normal. Mine are always breaking 'spells'.

Sorry dooper .. Newt is old news. (and just plain old).
Look at Jindal, Crist, or even Romney.
Palin killed any chance she had by quitting her term early.
(that was pretty lame)

OMG, did hell freeze over? I agree with Flyers Fan. Too bad she has me on Ignore.
I'm awarding her first star.

Sarah will have more time to bake now.......................

you libs are funny
your tune never changes, same old tired videos and arguments about Palin. So she can't visit her constiguent's church because now she visits witch doctors and boo hoo she was in a beauty pageant...

I would rather see Palin strut around in a swimsuit than Hillary or Pelosi by god!

anyways what I am trying to say is that you need to come up with fresh material to knock her down a notch. The newest ammo she gave you was stepping down from Governor and look, she is more popular now then before!

you guys crack me up...

Great, if I can bring a little joy and light into the world, thats a good thing.

I know that being an apologist for "cut and running" loser must take it's toll both emotionally and psychically. But look on the bright side....

You are getting lots of stars and flags from your compatriots.

And for your information, I don't hate Gov. Palin. It's hard to hate or fear someone that has become a parody of themselves. I hope she never leaves the media spotlight that she craves. I wish her well in her new career what ever that might be, you betcha!!

Well she is indirectly spreading joy, happiness and fame. I just heard Tina Fey was nominated for an EMMY for her portrayal.

Now THAT'S some mighty fancy pageant walking.

I thought we were above party politics at ATS.

I made up my mind a long time ago that both parties were on a collision course straight to hell and sent in my voter registration card, and, changed my party affiliation to that of independent.

Why would anyone want Sarah Palin?

She's a know-nothing.

I'm not a liberal.

I think she's a complete moron.

The reason people are afraid of her is because of her just absolute ignorance about the way things are. She also is an attention *****. She attracts so much attention to herself it's scary.

Also, anyone who thinks that Rush is the greatest political mind in the century-- needs to really-- step out of the false left right paradigm and see reality for what it is.

I'm definately not a liberal. I'm conservative. All the conservatives I know are NOT happy with her for stepping down as Govenor. They all say she blew it.

Before she stepped down I noticed that the leaders in the Republican party had all distanced themselves from her. When any of them were asked if they'd support her in 2012, they ALL went ..'um .. um ... well ... we have a lot of talent .. um ... we'll have to see who the people want .. um ... uh .....' (* as their faces turned red and they ran from the cameras).

Seriously .. the party leaders quit her before she quit Alaska.

I agree. I believe the GOP is going to be very careful about who they put up for the nomination for 2012. Sarah is honestly a very polarizing figure, and her stepping down from Governor so early puts into question her willingness to adequately serve her constituents before herself, and it gives Democrats ammo against her in the national scene.

There are people out there that can refresh and reinvigorate the GOP in a way that will appeal to the newer generations of voters, and those people (unlike Sarah) haven't already made themselves a political spectacle and alienated large swaths of potential voters.

I will probably vote 3rd party come 2012, but if Palin runs the GOP ticket it would be pretty hard not to vote Obama just to keep her out of office.

The message she sent to the voters was that she would continue Bush policies of social conservatism and liberal big spending. I would wager our national debt that if elected she would do nothing but increase spending and government reach in Conservative sweet spots, just like Democrats increase spending in areas that benefit them.

The message she sent to voters was that she will serve her constituency until it doesn't benefit her career any longer, or that she can't take the heat of being in a national spotlight (either of which is a disastrous thing for a POTUS to have).

She didn't have much of a message that I could see. "We're gonna beat them Dems, you betcha' and then we're gonna do what Republicans wanna do" was what I heard.
Since you seem to know her message in detail, perhaps you would explain it.
