I guess this is everybody's worst nightmare. The only thing worse than this would be to have a bank that actually paid it out. I think this story is pretty funny, which is why I posted it. I guess the guy really could be the richest man in the world for about 24 hours, until the bank caught the error. Then he might be charged with bank fraud. I hope I now have enough commentary that my submission will be accepted.

This is a big sign that banks are rewriting some of the code that keeps track of credit card accounts, most likely to their advantage.
That was a hefty amount, but what about the one dollar, five dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars or more that most folks will not catch,
