Nearly all my professors are Democrats. Isn't that a problem?

Replying to the OP, there is one simple reason why all professors at public schools are democrats.

They are paid with public tax dollars, have their research funded by public grants, and have their retirements covered by pubic insurance.

You'd either have to be one of the most ethical people in the world to be a professor and be a small government libertarian or a retard.

I'm sure some have heard of the phrase "You teach because you can't DO" Maybe that explains why there are so many liberal professors lol! Liberals can't DO anything, so they choose to preach/teach/indoctrinate, in the meanwhile, it's the republicans that are doing most of the work in the real world

more college professors are democrats?

hmmm maybe thats a sign or something....

nahhhhhhh

its got nothing to do with the fact that people are more likely to be democrats the more education they get

I'll agree that when I went to college, I used to have more liberal ideologies, thanks to the INDOCTRINATION of teachers. But once you go out into the REAL world, and have to fend for yourself and your loved ones, I immediately saw what a joke those teachers were and what a bunch of pretentious excuses for educators they were.

I think it's just that teachers have such strong unions that they believe this is the only way. I'm not sure they understand that not everybody lives this way. children are educated by union believers all the way up through university. I have to laugh when i hear teachers particularly give the old union slogan: if i were in the private sector i would make way more money. good benefits are the compromise. first of all, yes there are some very well paid people in the private sector but most people aren't. most people make less money than union members with far fewer benefits. and teachers! this is such a laugh because teachers in the private sector make far less than public school teachers. it's silly to compare a teaching job to what al gore makes lecturing. but i've heard this a thousand times. they believe it. they pass these attitudes on to our children up through the years. unions. socialism. government control for the good of All. teachers and professors also tend to feel that everybody else is stupid and selfish, that they are the only really altruistic ones, and that too is passed on. if this seems harsh it's because it is true.

I didn't read the whole thread. I got bored. I did skim it and didn't see this movie linked up, so here it is.

Indoctrinate U

Part one of three, I tried to find it the longest vids.

It touches on the OP, among other things. Some pretty wild stories they pull out. Seems as if the U's aren't doing their best or even close to it.

I am not surprised, everything is controlled by someone with an agenda. What makes the U's any different?
