Point being: Liberals are more open minded when it comes to change and acceptance that their way of thinking could be wrong/need adjustment/etc. Republicans are more traditionalist and go against the grain when it comes to change/admitting they are wrong. Universities want their professors to liberal and open so that the next generation will have the opportunity to broaden their mind, not narrow it/keep it narrow.

I do not feel it is by accident there is a liberal overload in public education and media. I also don't feel it's an accident there is conservative overload in the military, entrepreneurship, small business, and large business.

A lot of professors do consulting. Make no mistake, a good number of them are skilled in their work.
