It's NOT Who You Know, but What You Know

By going thru the gov't HR process, leadership may lean towards hiring people they already know. Networking and knowing the right people play a big part in the public sector, not just in the private sector. It's not shocking news.. it's fairly common.. but if gov't really does allow public to apply to jobs then why don't they hire people outside of the public sector. It seems that they always end up hiring people they know. WHY IS THAT? I thought it's equal opportunity. How in the world can normal people like us get our foot into the door?

Why do you need a source? Its common sense, people allways have and allways will look after there own interests, at the end of the day everyone is insecure so they want the people they know, those who they feel they can trust to work for them. Simples!
