Browsing on the NTS website I came across the U1a facility which is an underground facility where nuclear weapon experiments are conducted. Does anybody on here have the coordinates for this place?

What is it.....what is it........what is disssss....What on earth is going on here?

Using those co-ordinates I get the Google Complex in Mountain View in California... the arrow actually points to an unusual looking circular concrete pad on the ground.

So what are you looking for again?

The U1a Complex is an underground laboratory consisting of horizontal tunnels, each about one half mile in length, where experiments supporting the nation's nuclear stockpile are conducted. The U1a Complex is mined at the base of a vertical shaft approximately 960-feet below ground surface. The vertical shaft is equipped with a mechanical hoist for personnel and equipment access while another vertical shaft, about 1,000 feet away, provides cross ventilation, instrumentation and utility access, and emergency exits.

Basically it's a high explosive, sub critical (non nuclear) test facility. There was an underground nuclear test conducted in one of the tunnels in 1990, would be interesting down there to say the least!

Another facility a few miles south of this is the Device Assembly Facility (DAF). This can clearly be seen on Google Earth too, and is distinctive in design with it's double fencing, gun turrets and 12 lightning conductor poles. This is where critical components (nuclear) are assembled for testing, the NPT bans actual critical nuclear explosions in testing!
