It's not specifically built to "EAT DEAD BODIES."

It's fueled by organic materials.

That's:

Grass
Wood
Foliage
Soil
Insects

The media hyped it with that whole "even dead bodies" to get readers to freak out over this thing.

I'm sure they can program it not to feast on human flesh so we won't OMGZERS!!!! Man - eating robot zombies!!!!

Relax people.

what they didn't say was, "even live bodies". clearly insects would still be alive, as would grass, some foliage, and some wood..

FREAK OUT, PEOPLE!!

We no longer have to worry about this because it is apparently a vegan.

Vegetarian Robot

I'm so revealed.

But, I don't want to see it in my garden or compost pile. That would piss me off. 'lol'

That's a great observation.

I have to admit that I missed it.

Thanks for the laugh.

Dr. Finkelstein was also the mad scientist from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas. He created Sally the ragdoll and Jack Skelington's sleigh and skeleton reindeer.

Funny that somebody with the same name would invent a robot that can eat dead people. And I don't care what it's meant to eat, if it can eat "biomass," it can eat dead people. Actually, it can probably eat living people if it can catch them...

This might be a handy robot to have around when we have people doping like flies from the swine flu this winter.

I won't take my vaccination because it's the mark of the beast! It's my right! Vaccines cause autism!

The flu may cause death and at least we'll have the robots to clean it

So why couldn't this robot... or a similar one... be used to "digest" all of our waste products?

Put it by a garbage dump and let it go!

The bodies of an enemy should be treated with utmost respect. After all wouldn't you want your troops bodies treated with respect by the enemy?

The creator(s) of this monstrosity should be tried for crimes against humanity, this is nothing short of horrifying.

Seriously...

Big suprise that an American has designed this.....

Instead we just dump the pieces into the landfill.

I wonder what would happen with one of these passing by a cemetery or morgue..
