let's remember not a single Afghan was responsible for 9/11, most of the Hijackers were Saudi right? yet it is the afghans who are on the end of American bombs.

The taliban was set up by The US and UK as the muhjahadeen to fight the Soviets in the 80's, the west plied them with weapons and encouraged their activities. it has now come back to bite the west on the arse.

The fact we have so few troops out there at the moment, means we can never really take this conflict seriously and all we will have is more dead innocents and more dead soldiers.

Are we going to push the Taliban into Pakistan and then Invade Pakistan?

I'm just putting my point ut there its my opinion and I happen to think Im right.

I don't give a rats ass about peace in A-stan or Pakistan. I want all the Taliban and Al Qaida terrorists dead or at least to the point of being useless. However, the goal in A-stan and Pakistan is to a least bring some stability. All we need is for the Taliban or Al Qaida to control one of those countries and get their hands on a nuke.

So this surge and this whole operation since 2001 is to bring stability to Pakistan and Afghanistan. It's failing pretty badly as far as I can see. I dont remember worrying about pakistan before 9/11.

The fact you dont give a rats ass about peace in these places is worrying. I guess you think we should just nuke the whole middle east and be done with it. problem solved.
