my mum got loads for triping over a brick in the middle of teh pavement .. they all looked at me funny when i said she shoudl have been watching where she was going! ..

This would happen to me. But I have really good peripheral vision from walking while texting. It's actually quite extraordinary.

yeah it was left uncovered by a work crew who was going to get cones to mark it off with!!!!!

You know how many people I have dang near run over in a parking lot because they were texting and just walked out from behind a car not even looking up because they were texting? Well..it's a lot.

Seriously, if it's that important to text someone back right then and there, stop, find a place out of the way of other people's traffic and then text. It's not hard to do.

The best part of the article:
