While I think this current story about President Obama is very weak evidence at best, I see the Constitution perhaps differently than you. Either one of us might be off-base.......



Or a citizen of the United States, AT THE TIME of the Adoption of this Constitution.....

In other words, either born in the United States, or a citizen at the time the Constitution was adopted. Once the Constitution WAS adopted, Presidential candidates had to be natural born. Of course, even THAT had another amendment to clarify what that means -- natural born.

I don't think it means merely being a citizen qualifies.

The party that the President belongs to is responsible for making sure he is eligable. Knowing the Demorats, I have no confidence that they even looked into the issue because there only concern was to win the election at any costs.

Most of us who are suspicious of Obama being a natural born citizen would be perfectly satisfied if he would produce his original birth certificate. He refuses to do so which is why people are suspicious. Why would he not want to show this like every other President has done unless he has something to hide. This is a Constitutional requirement and yet he refuses to comply.

Well, I certainly believe he was born on Hawaii. Many seem to think all news media are in some conspiracy to not check that out. I guess that's what to expect from a conspiracy forum... Not even Fox news has touched this story though, and why? Because it's crap.

Even if he was born in Kenya as some conspiracists suggest, would it matter?

The law isn't crystal clear about this and he's still a great president!!

I wish the source were a little more credible because I believe it's true -- I just don't think this article PROVES it.

For example, there is an entire group of Bedouins that also claim him as their own flesh and blood.

Then of course are the Messiah claims -- that use his Arab ancestry as their proof.

My point being is that if we believe the word of everyone that says Obama is their ancestor -- he would be spread out all over the map. Ironically, nowhere in the US however.

Natural born citizen is pretty easily defined.

Hillary would not be the VP. Nancy Pelosi would be.

I think he's great in comparence to Bush the deceiver, who attacked Iraq based on lies. No WMD's and no ties to Al Qaida. Some sources suggests around 800´000 civilians dead and 25% of the population became refugees.. not to mention all the thousands of US troops dead and wounded...

I also think he's great because he's introducing a health care system that is not purely based on greed to the US. US was the only western country that did not have one. Watch Sicko by Michael Moore, if you haven't.

And lastly, I think generally his judgement on things are a lot better than Bush or McCain.......

Actually, WHEN the Constitutionally illegal, fraudulent de facto Commander in Chief is exposed (hopefully by the current lawsuit by the Army Major that refuses to obey unlawful orders), Biden will be out too... As co-conspirator.
