This one got closer to the Sun than Mercury's orbit and I was specualting that it could have hade a tidal influence on the Sun's surface. If you care to find it google it.

I tried looking for the comet, but it is just too late. I did pull out my 10" Meade LX 200 GPS the other night to look at C/2001 Q4. It is a nice sight. The comet Bradfield came out of no where in April I believe.
