Here's a few nice quotes I found from a Christian we don't hear much about.

“One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief, that is a fate more terrible than dying.”
-Joan of Arc

That one is nicely put I think, definitely a favorite,

"Children say that people are hung sometimes for speaking the truth."

"Act, and God will Act"

A couple other ones, I thought were nice as well.

I will contribute.

"Faith is the art of holding on to things your reason has once accepted in spite of your changing moods." -C.S. Lewis

"Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important." -C.S. Lewis

"Truth is so obscure in these times, and falsehood so established, that, unless we love the truth, we cannot know it." -Pascal

"Belief is truth held in the mind; faith is a fire in the heart." -Joseph Fort Newton

"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin." -Mother Teresa

Psalm 91

1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.

9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
15 When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation."

I have some that are funny and I suppose they hit home in one way or another!

“Stupidity is also a gift of God, but one mustn't misuse it.”
Pope John Paul II

“I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older; then it dawned on me... they're cramming for their final exam.”
George Carlin

“You do well to believe in God. Satan also believes...and trembles.”
James 2:19

“With soap, baptism is a good thing.”
Robert Ingersoll

I got a kick out of these and hope you do to!

Not to offend anyone, just for fun!

I've got more if thats what you wanted.

“Anybody can be Pope; the proof of this is that I have become one.”
Pope John XXIII

C.S. Lewis

"I wonder whether they have rum and Coke in Heaven?
Maybe it’s too mundane a pleasure,
but I hope so — as a sundowner.
Except, of course, the sun never goes down there.
Oh, man, this heaven is going to take some getting used to."
Desmond Tutu

Enjoy, like I enjoyed the atheist thread!

Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation
