Lets look at norms of some societies shall we, whats your gage? (ive included ours as its till recent we have done some of these)

Women no equality, not permitted to vote and no inheritance laws until recently

Eating human hearts to make the sun move

Having 4 wives

Slaughter over 16 million people in the coloniztion as it was the 'WESTS ' right to take over lands.

Go to mass in Latin when u dont understand it so u can be kept enslaved.

Kill and burn over a miillion people (esp women) as the didnt agree with your inquisition.

Slaughter of Cambodians by the Khmer Rouge as they didnt agree ideoligally, so lets smash their babies against trees.


Normal is just a badge people use to win an arguement and keep themselves as a power group. The gage for them change along with power status, and u all just feer gays getting power .


The norms from past listed we can do without, along with your bigotry.

Maybe it's religion then.

I don't believe in sin. I believe murder is wrong. I believe sin is an excuse for people to judge other people. I think people should act respectfully and lovingly towards others and when we die we turn to dirt because I'm an evolutionist and I like science and logic and I swear this thread just proves that religion, although supposed to unite people who support love and peace, drives EVERYONE apart.

Has anyone looked at the headlines lately? God isn't easing up on our planet. I would say people need to heed the warning - or else the prophecies will unfold just as predicted in the Bible. And it isn't pretty.

I think this word normal is an interesting thing. There is like statistically normal and then "normal".

I think you could say that it is a fact that homosexual sexual preferenes are outside the norm of human behavior. Since some people are either born that way or the are influenced environmentally that way or they have a chemical differnce that causes them to have a sexual preference outside the statistical norm. That in a statistical sense makes them outside the norm.

So to identify the cause you must be able to separate the groups and test for possible causes of both sexual preferences to understand how it works.

So I dont really think it is offensive to say that it is outside the norm, since it is a scientific statistical fact.

But maybe I am just getting hung up on terms.

Again, 'religion' has absolutely nothing to do with God. Nothing.

God created us, the universe, everything. And He put His laws in place for us to follow. But MANKIND, being mankind, decided he was above God and His laws - so over the generations, this current one especially, things have progressively declined - at a rapid rate. Morals, ethics, lack of accountability....... man has just gotten too big for his britches. And we are now starting to pay for that. It will only get worse unless WE, mankind, repent and turn from our sins.

I know I sound like a broken record but it's really simple - people try to make it so complicated.

Here's the key then.
You keep your sins to yourself and let all the other sinners burn in hell if that's what they want, okay?

I get that you want the world to be pure or save their souls or whatever.

If Christianity is on target, tons of us are going down and I think we know who we are. We chose to take a risk. It's none of your business what other people "sin" and honestly it isn't the government's, either. That's why there is separation of church and state in this country, although I'm starting to seriously DOUBT how much we hold true to that.

Homosexuals are deviants and disgusting, period.

The Folsom Street fair in San Francisco is a good example of why homosexuality needs to STFU and stay underground where it belongs. Many unsuspecting tourists bring their children to the Folsom Street fair hoping to promote cultural equality to their children. What happens is, they walk up on homosexuals having public sex. It's truly disgusting, and the police don't do anything about it.

Now that homosexuality is the "in" thing, because it's so rebellious and "new" I theorize that paeodphilia and bestiality are next in line for equal rights.

Guess what? Michael Jackson's death is already promoting paeophilia.

That sick freak died, and the entire world is idolizing a CHILD MOLESTER.

I mean I can't believe I'm seeing this. Are we really saying this guy was great because his music was good?

I'll have to agree with you on the MJ issue - I was reading last night about the magazines they found at his ranch during the molestation trial - "Barely Legal" said it all for me.

He WAS a talented individual - but he had issues, that was clear. But I agree, putting him on a postage stamp or idolizing him in ANY fashion has wrong written all over it.

I seriously can't believe you actually live in the bay. I hardly EVER encounter hateful people like you EVER here in the bay. I live over in Oakland. And I'm not gay by the way, but I don't mind gay people and I don't care about what they do. It doesnt bother me or affect my life in any way, so why does it bother you? Why are you so worried about them? Do you feel threatened?

And i don't care about michael jackson and I think he was child molestor too, but how in the HELL do you live in san francisco and have all these problems with gay people?

I used to say that this will lead to open beastiality and pedophillia over time..maybe 20 years or so. I have to sit and shake my head at all of the people that would choose to live a short 60-90 years living a free for all life........ and give up any chance of living eternally in Heaven.

If you read the Bible you probably already know this but when you die, you don't stay dead. You will live eternally in one of two places - your choice.

Actually, I was being sarcastic. I was basically saying that you do not approach the subject like a scientist. Your porn analogy holds little water as pornographic images FAR precede Playboy. Pornographic images and writings can be found in artifacts and writings of the ancient Romans and many civilizations that came before them. There is some sexy stuff in the old testament which is attributed to King David as author.

Seeing as how pornography was around for so long and there are still plenty of people who prefer and enjoy "conventional" sex, I don't see how your analogy holds water. Things have not gotten worse, just more out in the open.

Many, many societies in the past looked at homosexuality as no big deal. The ancient Greeks, where Democracy comes from, were far more open minded about homosexual relationships. Thus, seeing as homosexuality has been out in the open for thousands of years and there are still heterosexuals running around all over the place, I doubt that there is a "trend" of homosexuality that is threatening heterosexuality.

I dont think they are accusing homosexuals of being anymore into pedophilia than heterosexuals. I think they are just saying that they will use the same path to equal rights that homosexuals use to get their rights. Just like homesexuals used the path that african americans did to get their rights.
