"I even felt up the pillows" Now that's what I call desperate

I live in the country with no neighbors and I have heard a beep outside. I have also heard dialing tones. Weird.

I sleep with earplugs in (VERY light sleeper)- and I have noticed how LOUD the beeps are.

hmmm...interesting you should mention this, I sleep with earplugs in as well, have for a LONG time, and yes, I've heard this 'beep' with them in as well..

I do have a theory but I do have a long history of hearing 'strange noises'...

anyways.. has anyone that has heard these 'beeps' have their ears checked, extensively ..

Usually I hear things when I lose focus, and often it is as if there are these "drones" that are attempting to mitigate the paranoia that occurs when individuals are able to cross into other realms.

What we call "hallucinations" and "psychosis" is basically the starting point of crossing into other planes of being.

WHOA!!!

My wife's computer JUST beeped and.. it has the cursor on the monitor flashing in the upper left hand corner of the monitor on a black background.. just like in the movie.. the Matrix.. !!!!

WT*>>>>!!!

EDIT: THAT was a little freaky~! hmmm...not exactly sure what it was, but i pushed the reset button thinking it might have been OFF but the power button light was still ON, so i pushed the power button on the front and held it thinking it would reboot, and to my surprise it did.......

hmmmm.. i guess the H/D was in hibernation ?? but, her machine isn't set for that. usually the pb light is off, so when i held in the button the H/D rebooted......?

First sounds, then lights, then beeps
What's next ATS??

Haha sorry I couldn't help myself. But this does sound interesting.

Could it be some sort of an electronic interference going in during the explosive corona's of the sun? Although I think those would be eliminating the sounds rather than making them.

had to update my post, hmmmmmm... the corna should have shut it down or fried it.. not put the H/D in a state that it was in .. as if there was no O/S on the pc..

freaking wierd..

Well I don't have tinnitus and am aware of the usual things that are prone to beeping occasionally in the home.
Problem is my phone that is one of those docked wireless jobbies gives off a very feint beep randomly. (It sits just by me on top of the PC) It's barely audible. I've checked to see if it's docked properly, I've checked that it's not some charge indicator, I've checked the manuals, the lot.

I am confuzzled...

Anywhere in the surrounding area lorries might be loading / unloading? Beeping outside is a normal occurrence around here in the middle of the night. Those reversing beeps can pierce the still night air for miles.

Well, this could go some way to explaining it. I know for a fact it is something I would do for entertainment purposes.

I don't know about beeping sounds, but I've been hearing a very low frequency buzzing/humming noise for the better part of the last decade.
It happens everywhere so It must be something wrong with me.
I went to see various specialists but none of them know exactly what's causing it.
Probably OT tho.

Ok .. this is from a thread i started of odd things happening to me in a former house we lived in and after we moved.....

Going to add this event to this post since it's relevant. About 3 weeks ago, I was laying in bed, after hearing the alarm clock go off, shut it off and laid there for a couple of minutes and then thought "well, I guess I should get up". Immediately after having that thought.. I physically HEARD a radio transmission along with the mic being keyed... "that is confirmed" or something similar to that! I FREAKED!

I opened my eyes immediately, looked toward the window which had the blinds shut, but just a bit open to see if the police were in my backyard. I got up, opened the blinds in the bedroom, looked outside, nada. zero, no one there. I ran to the the sliding glass door, open it up.. walked out side.. nada, zero...no one there. I ran out the front door in hopes to see a police car or some kind of activity going on about the neighbor .. nada zero,, quiet as a mouse. Sky was clear, with a few clouds.

I was shocked to see this thread! I too have heard beeps. I will stand at different parts of the living room trying to find where its coming from. But it's kinda like it moves. never in the same place. I also will hear a vibration , just for a few seconds at a time. Like a cell phone but I will have my phone in my hand and I will text my family and they all have their phones with them. When I hear these beeps or vibrations they will happen 5 or 6 times over about 10 minutes. Its always when I'm alone that i hear these things. Has anyone else heard vibrations too, or am i just a nut case??

Hey recently for the past month I've been hearing beeps, and electronic bells at home and even at a night club once. It's odd, and I personally believe the sounds are demonic, or illuminati related. Mind control.

No, but theres more blinking lights in my room then I think there should be. Honestly does everything have to freaking glow? Yeah, I know its an indicator to tell me if something is working or charging. Doesn't mean I think my room should look like the inside of a bad sci-fy movie.

I have thought about this being demons also. At night i wear earplugs because of my husbands snoring. For the past few years i have heard beeps, knocking ( like at my bedroom door) my alarm, my phone ringing, and doorbells. These things sound loud and clear even though i have my earplugs in. So, this is not external, it's either a dream, or what? I don't know, I don't feel like I'm asleep when hearing these things. I thought something was wrong with me. Maybe I'm just a little weirdo?

Most earplugs tend to block medium frequencies more than high and low, hence why you are able to hear those kinda sounds quite clearly.

Strangely, I have heard strange beeps and electronic noises that almost seemed to come from inside my ear. It happened ever since I was a kid. My father would use very loud power tools and I would always watch him without hearing protection. As I grew older the noises became less and less until I joined the military and became exposed to loud gunfire, again without hearing protection.

I found that the sudden noises would shock my ear to the point where even the slightest sounds would be interrupted as needley, high-pitched beeps. The problem would continue for days and slowly taper off and occur sporadically as it did. I recognized the strange sounds as the same electronic beeps I was hearing as a kid. My audiologist agreed with my theory. But I do have to say that the sounds had distinct edges it didnt just fade, it stopped sharply. Getting your hearing checked might be a good idea, and I am not meaning to be patronizing. Hearing loss sucks! But as I researched the possibility of it being hearing damage I discovered that hallucinations occur both visually and audiologically. The audio hallucinations can occur, in theory, when radiation o radio signals pass through your brain and mess with your neural net. I'm certain I do not have the specific lingo correct, its been a few years. But I honestly have to say I thought of HAARP or something. Or that damn alien implant, but I hope the greys were smart enough to no install a beeping mechanism with my implant. That would just be stupid. But its important to consider that 'beeps' in terms of electronics were created for our benefit ; to wake us up, tell us the coffee is done, etc. The CIA does not use surveillance devices that beep so I hope the aliens don't.

It might be that you are on the Truman Show. Seriously, I have heard strange beeps and have experience phantom radio transmissions. I have a strange theory that as our technology advances and devices become more common, the effects on our body might be serious. A decade ago we always heard about radiation being emitted from our cell phones. Now we don't hear anything about that now that it has become an industry. I have also experienced vibrations on my thigh just like I would if my cell rang in my pocket, only to find the damn thing is not even in my pocket. But that is where I usually keep it.

Then I thought - was I experiencing vibrations or numbness? Getting a tumor in my leg for the sake of carrying a cell in my pocket would really suck.

I have experienced this myself on and off. I have inner ear problems but to me it does not seem like something coming from internally by externally. The beeps I hear are just like what you described. I live in an apartment and have sometimes wonder if it was coming from someone else's apartment?
I have super senistive hearing so noises that may be miles away sound like they are in my backyard. Everytime I hear this beeping or chirping I check around the house to see if any batteries need to be replaced but there are never anything that explains it. My smoke detectors are hard wired so no batteries there. My carbon monxiode detector is not in use yet so it has no batteries in it. ( I live in an all electric apartment.)
I called my apartment to change the smoke detector batteries yet they told me the smoke detectors are hard wired. They did check to make sure that the smoke dectectors were working properly and they were. I would love to find a good explanation because it creeps me out sometimes.
