Good catch Star! Somebody posted earlier that the coin didn't have Illuminati symbology.

But, I do have to agree with the other posts that it does have a drab, utilitarian look. Reminds me of something "The State" would produce.

I think they would be pushing their luck a bit too much if they had put illuminati symbolism on it.

Of course there will be unified laws, a proper court system, and a leadership of countrys represented as a actual functioning UN.

This is actually a desirable trait...so long as each country and each state holds onto its local legal and representitive ability.

This is the transition, as Michau Kaku explained, from a type 0 planet to a type 1 planet. to think we would forever be divided is a absolutely insane idea.

these became villages, which united with other neighboring villages becoming cities, then city-states, kingdoms, countrys, etc.

this is a natural progression. No doubt when villages united, there were people grumpy about those transitions also...losing their status as village elder or head magicman or whatever...but oh well, its a natural tendency to unite in greater and greater systems...hell, you can even observe this in material science...

organization is one of the most natural events in existance, in things living and not.

The argument, for the enlightened, is not about how do we stop it...its like stopping the tide from coming in, or gravity from working...
The argument is how do we make sure we have independence, freedom, and representation as this natural process occurs.. Anyone whom believes it can be avoided is simply delusional.

Also in the news is that GM is throwing American Suppliers to the Wolves and giving some of the business to Russia and South Africa. A coincidence they are both Communist Countries closely linked? Do they own Obama?

This is distrubing...time to get a metal detector.

To me the problem is that the worlds leaders have already shown they are incapable of running the size of countries they are dealing with now.

Going to a world system would innevitably increase their incompetence exponentially.

I didn't read all the responses and I know I'm going to get flamed for this but here goes. First, I love my country and I am against any person or group that would intentionally cause harm to it. That being said, one world government could be awesome. Some of the benefits I can think of would be a reduction / eventual end to War, economic stability, potential advances in science, such as space exploration. Imagine all the money and resourses currently wasted on National defense and wars being available for the benefit of humanity.

Its time to embrace the future of humanity and stop being fearful and ignorant. This is a new paradigm for all of us and I think its going to be wonderful as long as the bible/koran folks don't turn it into something ugly with religious nonsense.

I guess all those coins will have to be fussed into the new "unity".

I think, if you think about the game SPORE you must conquer the other cities( i like to think of them as countries) by means of economy, religion and/or military. In the game SPORE it seems like a very good idea to have a one world government, and thinking about it, it might make the human race millions of times stronger but if you think about it... There will be so much identity lost and so many cultural things given up. I would love to make money and be able to travel the globe with that money i made working in a different continent without being stopped by money barriers or feeling "lost", i mean all i would have to do is go to the local police. Things would be so much easier but its a big, BIG loss for idividuality.

Russia is not a communist country...it is a democracy...the USSR wasnt even communist..that was a socialist republic...and that collapsed quite sometime back.

Actually, is there a communist country left in the world? thought that fad was over in the late 80s/early 90s....many former communist nations went the way of capitalist socialisms (except cuba)

This was a concern also during the revolutionary war...that if all states united, the identity of the states would be lost.

This of course is now seen as untrue...each state has its own uniqueness to it, but in addition they have a common thread of being part in something greater than just themselves.

incidently, if you look at your world in spore, you will note that the different cities/nations remained their original path after the unification...culture cities remained culture cities, etc.

from a philosophical point of view a one world government isnt a bad idea. BUT and this is a big but, the people behind this are the most evil,greedy, selfish maniacs that ever graced this earth. And it is this reason why we should not agree to this. These are the people that start world wars just for profit and control, watch millions of people die and not batter an eyelid, stage false flag events whilst killing many of their own people just for their own gain. Would you really want these people as a one world government?

Honestly I hope that a one world government and currency is instituted. I think the unity would solve all economic problems as well lead us to a age of peace and prosperity the likes of which have never been seen. Indeed I think it would be like the Star Trek world, where Earth is unified and flourishing. Of course we must be sure this is done for the right reasons and not for tyrannous reasons. But I am for it. You could have a 'World President', globally elected, with each country having a 'chancellor', which would pretty much be like the Presidents or PMs today, but they would be more like senators in the world government, with the "President of the World" being the head.
