I think you'll be quite surprised and happy about what something as simple as routine stretching can do for you. It vitalizes you I must say. The blood moves freely, and another bonus is you have more mobility and less likely to injure the muscles.

I'm trying to work my way up to doing the splits or any kind of advanged yoga positions.

Stretching is mega-awesome


Another favourite of mine is pull/chin-up bars if you feel like putting them in. They work every part of your arm, shoulders, back etc and simple to do.. Just 5 reps to get your heart pumpin and make you feel good, but also its quick and its maintaining your fitness.

I work a pretty active job, I am skinny guy and my whole life up until recent years I've been unmotived and immobile and just sat at the computer all day.
I put a lot more emphasis on fitness now as I feel it drastically increases the quality of life for me, so give it a shot man.
