I just had four alerts on my email!

Whats going on on the East Coast?????

TV isnt saying anything.

I just had those alerts sent from DAD.

They say they dont have any specific information.

But that IS WEST COAST and ALASKA... nothing about the east coast...

I'm thinking that because i've been subscribed for a long time to that service but i never had a false alarm.

I think China had an earthquake but i'm nowhere near China

the op was for the east coast. if a bigger one or more aftershocks hit the dominican or other areas near by, i could see a possible tsunami on the east coast.
anyone familiar with these waves? what magnitude would be big enough at this distance from the east coast to cause a damaging wave?
