Yes. It was a once in a lifetime training opportunity. Everybody on the grassy knoll was CIA. They ran up enormous overtime and had to defund their Christmas party that year.

ah! lemmings !!!

Well see... lemmings are worse than sheep... sheep may be docile and follow the shepherd, but they won't jump blindly off the cliff

Now see back in my day we had 'hippies' and the PTB were always hassling them... aren't 'light workers' the New Age hippies?

[edit on 13-7-2009 by zorgon]

Nice colour that pill! Looks quite appealing
Would this one kill me right away or let me stumble around in Mystery first?

Yea I know that lemmings are worse then sheep. Lemmings are so much more self-destructive
Sheep just follow anyone who looks like a shepherd, they more hair but have less brains.

Back in your days? You can’t be much older then I am

PTB: what’s that? A police force or special forces or something like that?

Lightworkers are often referred to as ‘New Age Hippies’, I’m fine with that label. I am just me, giving my 2 cents and doing my own little ‘hocuspocus’. People can call me anything they want

Do I have to be careful now of what I say and mess myself up with the idea ‘they’ (CIA or others) come after me?

Nah I won't. Glad I’m but a nobody, sailing along with the stream.

FBI maybe, but I really doubt the CIA would bother with ATS.

I dunno if you people are aware or not, but lemmings do not actually commit suicide. They were herded off the cliff by Disney producers, they did not voluntarily jump off to their deaths.

www.snopes.com...

Deny ignorance, start accepting that Disney is and always has been an evil corporation.

I've been saying this very same thing since i had my original account, why else would someone come to ATS and talk about how ridiculous all these stories are, unless they are paid to do it....Disinfo....people paid to tell other people they are stupid for what they believe in.

BEWARE OF OZZWHEATHERMAN, or whatever his name was. he likes to tell people from half way round the world that they are not seeing chemtrails above them,. despite any descriptions givin. He simply states how your wrong and hints at your ignorance....AND THAT IS THE DISINFO GAME!

How wrong you are with that statement. Foreigner's are not guaranteed Free Speech.

First, and foremost, the C.I.A. would be watching foreigner's here.

Meaning, people outside the U.S.A., and then as well foreigner's who are living within the U.S.A., whether through them having gained citizenship, being here on a VISA, or just visiting for the holidays.

Next, they would be watching their interactions with American citizens, to see if they are recruiting them as spies, saboteurs, or for terrorism.

Foreign intelligence agents would be on here as well, watching Americans, and watching their own citizens, and gathering intelligence information.

And, just because you are not planning something, does not mean other people are not.

Besides that, how would you know someone is not speaking via U2U, privately, with someone, and planning something?

You wouldn't.

This is an international website forum, based upon conspiracies, cover-ups, and crimes of Government, among other things.

You bet your sweet Aunt Sally they can do something, if they so chose to do so.

On top of that, if the C.I.A. wouldn't do something directly, because you are on American soil, and an American citizen, they could just call the F.B.I. and suggest they come visit you.

Or, even wait until you left the country on a vacation, and snatch your pretty fuzzy butt on a rendition order.

Excuse me?

The US Constitution and the Bill of Rights applies equally to ALL PEOPLE. It does not only apply to citizens, but applies to non-citizens. If you are on U.S. soil, whether it be a protectorate or mainland, then you are accorded the same Constitutional Rights that a citizen of the U.S. has.

That is the precise reason we have Guantanamo Bay. It is not part of the U.S., nor is it part of a U.S. Protectorate like Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Baker Island, Guam, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Islands, Navassa Island, Northern Mariana Islands, Palmyra Atoll, Virgin Islands, Wake Island. So long as these people, both citizen and non-citizen alike are held outside of the United States and its Protectorates then our government can deny them their Constitutional Rights which apply to everyone. They can be denied a trial of their peers, they can be held without trial or charge, due process does not apply, and they have no rights.

In the United States there are indeed rights that only Citizenship conveys, however Constitutional Rights are not one of them. These rights are inalienable, meaning that they belong to everyone universally, and they cannot be denied to anyone, nor can they taken away.

Freedom of Speech which is a protected Constitutional Right therefore applies to non-citizens in the U.S. just as it does citizens.

Freedom of Speech should be possible for ALL people in the world. For a long time I believed truely that Freedom of Speech did exist. For centuries my country was known for it's Freedom of Speech and tolerance.

But Freedom of Speech is just an Illusion. One can find a way to be as Free as possible but only within this Illusionary system of laws.

There simply is NO total Freedom of Speech on this Globe.

Absolutely not... because there is no such thing as TOTAL Freedom of Speech. Freedom of Speech comes with responsibility and as thus has all sorts of restrictions

You yell fire in a crowded theater you go to jail

You tell people that your neighbor is a pedophile because you think you saw something, and thus ruin a person's life by the mere hint of it and open yourself to a lawsuit for liable

People toss that around too much "Freedom of Speech" and really have no clue what it means

If there were no restrictions on Freedom of Speech we would have Anarchy

Wow, you just do not know anything about what you're talking about with this, do you?

A foreigner, on American soil, is not guaranteed "Freedom of Speech", because they are within the bounds of our country.

I think you need to re-read your history books, do some research, and delve deeply into the history of the C.I.A., F.B.I., and as well as McCarthy.

The F.B.I. under J Edgar Hoover had anyone who was a foreigner, with a potentially threatening disposition followed, watched, and a file was created on them.

I am reading about that in the book called Dangerous Dossiers from the public library right now.

Amazon Review :

Here is the full story of the surveillance of more than 50 American authors, dramatists, artists, historians and others by the FBI and other government agencies during the last 50 years.

Those under surveillance include Hemingway, Faulkner, Tennessee Williams, John Steinbeck, Pearl Buck and Sinclair Lewis.

32 pages of illustrations. Serialized in New Yorker, New York Times Book Review, Village Voice, Atlantic and New Republic.

They were sometimes labeled subversives, Communists, or potential threats.

So, why on Earth would you think that the C.I.A. would not have similar programs?

I suggest you read the book The Secret History of the CIA

Amazon Review :

Citing legitimate governments ruined and thousands of lives lost, investigative reporter Trento (Widows) views the CIA as stunningly incompetent. He blames the agency's culture of arrogance for the waste of superior intellects and hundreds of millions of dollars.

Trento vividly re-creates the day-to-day lives of key CIA agents during defining post-WWII events: the Cuban missile crisis; JFK's assassination; Vietnam; the overthrow of Salvador Allende in Chile; and Cold War espionage in the U.S. and Soviet Union. In Chile, for instance, the Nixon administration arranged a military coup to head off the Socialist Allende's presidency and abetted the assassination of the Chilean army's chief of staff, General Ren‚ Schneider, who wouldn't help "oust a democratically elected leader."

Based on U.S. and Soviet records and reports and on hundreds of interviews with former CIA men and their families, the firsthand stories of moles, secret operations, assassination attempts and triple agents are equal to John le Carr‚'s best. But Trento's provocative conclusions that Lee Harvey Oswald worked for the KGB and that Averell Harriman was probably a Communist sympathizer suffer from the poor credibility of his sources; his CIA has few heroes, many alcoholics, womanizers, deceitful bureaucratic infighters, outright liars and worse.

Trento's prose sometimes reads like boilerplate spy thriller (peopled by "brilliant," "cunning" men and "beautiful and ambitious" women), but generally he does a good story justice, and he has ample opportunity here. (Oct.)Forecast: Recently released Cold War security documents are spawning numerous intelligence expos‚s, and Trento's salable blend of gravitas and sensation will attract a wide readership.

That is just one of many books I can utilize as reference materials on the topic of the C.I.A.

Here's a thread I began just on what we as American's have being done against us on a daily basis.

Why would it matter if C.I.A. were perusing ATS?
I'd imagine T.I.A. is here as well as N.S.A., and sometimes F.B.I., and various state and local police.
Maybe agents, ect, just get bored and surf here cause it's darned well interesting.
Maybe they are assigned to observe and report, I mean if some guy claimed he was fixing to launch his interstellar probe from his backyard in say Dearborn Mich. and L.L.E. had made an inquiry regarding a huge thing that looked for all the world like a Chinese Army Surplus launch vehicle in a guy's backyard in Dearborn, I'd imagine it would be somebody's job to notify somebody else to unplug the darned thing unless he has all his A.S.A. certs and permits in order (and the A.S.A. hardly ever okays interstellar probe launches from backyards).
There could be some junk get posted that got smuggled out of a secure situation by somebody with a very high security clearance, that we are not supposed to find out about (ask Gary McKinnion or whatever that british guy's name is that hacked into out G.S. networks).
Or somebody could be posting a how to about building an atomic bomb, like I did back in about 1992.
They never even came and asked me not to post that again, they never deleted the post, and to my knowledge nobody ever followed my simple instructions and built thier own atom bomb in their backyard in Dearborn.
That said, welcome to all puzzle palace players, whether just surfing for pleasure, or screening posts for Sam's Boredom Club (gawd, you'd get suicidal just from over-exposure to stupid if you had to read the stuff people post all day, at least ATS is interesting.)
A possible plus, some of the brains that work for our and other governments could make some pretty interesting posts in the interest of disclosure, or just to see what all kinds of bait ATS'ers will nibble at.
Anyway, please be secure in the knowledge that if the government wants ya, they'll get'cha, and it is very doubtfull they'd be wanting you for anything you posted here, assuming you are of normal intelligence (which lets me out).
Enjoy ATS, and if the men in black come to see ya at least invite em in for coffee.
Ohtay?

My opinion may vary from you'r own, in which case you are just being stubborn since I'm always 100% correct and would never ever tell a whopper, so heps me Jebuss!
