Michael Moore's next film will be about 'Capitalism'

Documentary maker Michael Moore revealed yesterday that his new movie is to be titled Capitalism: A Love Story, according to Variety. The film will focus on "the disastrous impact that corporate dominance and out-of-control profit motives have on the lives of Americans and citizens of the world" and will be released on October 2.

Michael Moore is a Capitalist.

He makes tons of money off the system. What Moore is saying is that he wants the poor people to be socialist. He wants the poor folks to take rationed healthcare and ride a bike to work to save the planet.

What's so sad is many people will cheer him on. Of course he wants you to be a socialist while he continues to live a Capitalist lifestyle.

This what makes me so sick about people like Michael Moore and those who follow him.

Michael Moore is a Capitalist. He will use a Corporation to distribute his documentary. He makes his documentaries through his Corporation so he can right off expenses and he doesn't pay taxes on the money he makes off of his films for a year.

This is how Corporations work.

If you make 10 million dollars you don't have to pay taxes on that money for a year and then you can reinvest in your company or the next You Tube. At the end of the year say you have 3 million left, then you pay taxes on the 3 million.

That works out great because companies reinvest in their companies and hire workers and invest in new start ups that could be the next Google or MySpace.

Moore owns his own production company called Dog Eat Dog Films and through his production company he makes his films.

So Moore is a Capitalist but he wants poor people to be socialist while he lives a capitalist lifestyle.

This is how the liberal elite operate. Al Gore wants you to live in a tree house while he drives around in private jets. I don't understand why any American would listen to these people.

The Problem is Big Government being in bed with business. These liberals in Washington point the finger at Capitalism while they waste and spend trillions of dollars.

Because, to paraphrase Mr. Gore, they play on our fears.

As we have learned over and over again frightened people do stupid things. Whether it's invading a nation that had nothing to do with anything, tearing down entire industries because some guy said the Earth was sad or remanufacturing an entire economic system because some moron making 20K a year took out $500K for a house that was worth $300K.

Despite all the checks and balances (most of which are non-existent) we're all still subjected to the ebb and flow of mass stupidity.

I saw Michael Moore on TV this morning, and almost threw up in my mouth. I bet this film will flop like Sicko did.

Your exactly right but it baffles me sometime how people can be so stupid.

Al Gore is a Capitalist. He makes money off books and speeches and documentaries. He flies around in a private jet. Yet he wants the people to live like peasants with cradle to the grave government entitlements.

Michael Moore is a Capitalist making millions off of his films but he wants the poor folks to live like they are in Cuba.

Barack Obama is a Capitalist. He got book advances and he's eating 100 dollar a pound kobe beef at parties that we are paying for.

The elite will always want one set of rules for them which is they can do anything they want and control over the peasants.

It's really sad.

Yep getting stupid people to give you money is one of the fundamentals of capitalism. I would say that not only is he a capitalist, he is a master of the art

I remember some BS speech he made about how the American Dream is dead. Funny, he's the perfect example of the American Dream come true. He was just some joe schmoe that decided to make a movie and now he's a millionaire.

Doesn't excuse the fact he's clownshoes, tho.

Since his movie is about Capitalism will he be a hypocrit and make money off of it or will he donate all proceeds to a good charity?

My guess is that he will capitalise off of it.

I think what he does is informative but suspect he might be a bit of a hipocrate.

So, he's going to make a for-profit film...to talk about how capitalism is evil.....ok, that makes perfect sense. Almost as much sense as a grossly obese man lecturing the U.S. in his movie Sicko about preventive care. Michael Moore is a joke.

I guess the way one could look at it; it would take a capitalist as you folks claim Michael to be to pull off something like this to increase awareness.

Are any of you making a film about the evils of capitalism? Do you have the money to do it? Or the infrastructure to be in it's face and to reach a large audience?

Perhaps Michael operates within the confines of the current system because that is the world we/he lives in.

Do you buy products made by corporations?
Yes you do, and you are supporting capitalism even though you may be against it, because you must operate within the confines that society has put you in, you haven't the ability to operate any other way.

The only way to fight it is with itself.

Okay, tell us about him. He makes movies decrying everything about America, but he only shows one side. (I've seen all his movies except "Roger and Me.") He cuts and edits to show only his point of view. In "Sicko," he has Canadians talking about how they won't come to the US without insurance, but he doesn't give accurate statistics about the Canadians who come to America SEEKING health care. He praises Cuba's system, but doesn't mention the political prisoners who are paying the cost of that healthcare with their lives.
Tell me how good Super Socialist Micheal Moore is.

Is Michael Moore going to talk about how the corporations pay off our politicians and our politicians pass laws that create more barriers to entry so the mega corporations can make more money?

Is he being a hypocrite is what he is doing. Because we do not live in a capitalist system. We live in a corporatist system aka fascism.

If he addresses those issues and says that is an inherent flaw with capitalism then he is flat out lying.

I used to be a big Michael Moore fan but even I'll admit he's lost without a clue. A recent essay he wrote about how to save GM was both appalling and showed absolutely no competence. # Michael Moore, he's no longer relevant. The point is his message is not even true. It is totally biased to his point of view. He never shows both sides of the argument, just whatever his fat little brain decides is best for everyone.
