I hope Ron Paul continues the fight and does not give up. I support Dr. Paul and his efforts to restore the republic and the constitution.

I sure hope someone would bribe the electoral college in HIS favor for once. The fed owns our souls, and keeps the underprivileged down while assuring them of equality. Yep the right to be used in the same way, only for what it's worth to invest in, based on creditworthiness alone, not the capability to change the status-quo.

if obama turns into another "moderate" professional politician, I am definitely going to work for "ron paul revolution" come 2012.

Are you F'n kidding? open your eyes.

you may think obama is an extreme left wing, but in comparison to international politics, he is no where near being labeled left.

in fact, if you look at every policy making decision, he is far more to the right than jimmy carter.

we needed to move to the left a bit anyhow. american politics is not much better than middle east theocracy historically. what are the chances here that an atheist could run and have a chance to win the white house? ZERO. in most developed countries around the world, revealing yourself as a devout of any religion will kill any chance to win the office. i should know. i lived in 3 countries so far in my life.

If you talk and think in terms of left / right... I will repeat what i said you need to open your eyes. But what use is it trying to explain things to people who can't see the forest through the trees.

I just mean to say people get so lost thinking in terms of left / right, republican / democrat, conservative / liberal etc.. It all boils down to one thing - you either serve the people, or you serve "the agenda".

Tell me, who do you think Obama is serving, the people?!

I honestly think the only way this is going to stop is with national socialism or a communist revolution.

yeah it sounds crazy.........

but if it pulled germany out of a pit of poverty, something worked.

.........and before someone blasts me for racism, the style of politics does not automatically make it racist.

The movie 'the bank' sounds too close for comfort on this issue.

I'm not sure how you came about judging me a "leftest" or a "right wing"... I was hoping for a dennis kucinich vs ron paul election last time, and wouldn't have minded either one.

but one thing you must realize is that it doesn't matter if a dem or rep is in white house. both parties serve large corporations.

my point earlier is that american politics is way too much tied with religion. in fact, many politicians use 'not believing evolution' as a medal of honor, which from international perspective, it's simply a display of ignorance awarded with higher offices.
that's really what I wanted point out to be 'a bit to the left' isn't a bad thing.
of course such mind baffling traits are also found in dems.

our bipartisan politics systematically discourage a 3rd party candidate, such as ross parot or ralph nader.

but no changes will come anytime soon in america until the majority of the population desire such change. but look around you. most of us care more about that pedophile michael jackson than politics. most don't even know that building 7 collapsed without any apparent external attack during 9-11, they just buy into whoever is telling whatever is claimed to be the truth on TV or radio, because it came from TV or radio.

to reply to your question of 'serving the people' versus 'serving an agenda', nobody that is elected from bipartisan system will serve people, period. thus only way to make a change is to pick a candidate who is not of that 'lobbyist' culture of washington. that leaves only the libertarian, reform party, modern wigs, or the green party.

do you think any of them even have a chance to show up at the presidential debate?

thus, imo, only way to hope for the best is to hope the lesser of the two evil gets there. although I think ron paul is one exception to the rule. I would love to work for his campaign, however, as it has been proven over and over in our history, the one government agency with no accountability will probably take out a person like ron paul, as they have with JFK.

I agree there should be an audit, but I don't feel as a nation we really want other countries to know the findings.

I just feel the published results would not benefit us at all and possible cause a major econmic catastrophe for the US.

Think about that. Bernanke used the same rationale. If things are that bad, and we audit the FED and the dollar crashes, the economy tanks, and Armageddon begins, then does it not stand to reason that this will happen anyway regardless of sunlight?

Do you wanna see it coming and prepare, or do you want to be caught off guard? The people have the right to know.

And in DIRECTLY related news today:

Fed warns on Congressional scrutiny

The Federal Reserve warned on Thursday that a growing congressional threat to curtail its independence would destabilise markets and raise the cost of servicing US debt for “current and future generations”.

Ron Paul, the Texas Republican, has gathered the support of a majority of the House of Representatives for a bill that would audit the Fed’s monetary policy decisions. He told a Congressional hearing he wanted the power to prevent the Fed being "secret and clandestine and serving special interests”.

Obama, the "cheerleader" of the NWO is lame. I guess he means well. But still.

Concern was brought up if these facts were published for the world. Correct me if I am wrong, but the legislation calls for congressional oversight of the audit, which doesn't technically mean that the specifics of their findings will be shared with the world, right? Anyone know for sure what the plan is?

It is ridiculous that we as a people have to fight so hard to have proper oversight of our monetary policy. Consider that a handful of unelected officials hold within their hands the flow and value of the world's reserve currency. I am amazed that the rest of the world hasn't demanded this before, let alone the American people.

I find it ironic that California is trying to pay it's debts with IOU's, when in fact that is what the dollar itself is. I guess not many people want an "IOU an IOU" haha.

Ron Paul lives on principle. I am never surprised by what he does because he does what he says. Great man.

As far as left and right politics goes, the sooner we can look past this the better. I've found the most important thing is freedom. If we are free, the issues of left and right take a backseat. I was surprised I had never thought of it in this light when I first saw this chart. Check it out if you haven't. Makes a lot of sense.

Sounds like the fed is making veiled threats here, they must be really worried that this bill will actually pass congress,if it does somehow make it I fully expect Obama to veto it along with having the department the treasury go on a pr blitz accusing Ron Paul of being "irresponsible" and endangering the global economy.

It's not even a veiled threat, it's a plain threat expressed in the passive voice, so to speak ... "If you annoy us, you'll get charged more interest"...But when too many Americans become aware of how we pay interest to somebody else to issue our money when we could just as easily issue it ourselves and pocket the difference..."COME ON DOWN, YOU'RE THE NEXT CONTESTANT ON THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!!"

(I wish I could schedule a minute of silence every day for all Americans to bow their heads and think about how we are all paying interest for no reason...and any big action or even continued talk of this by the Fed is working towards them scheduling such a group meditation themselves, uh-huh)

The good thing about all this is it is getting people aware of the Federal Reserve. If the audit bill makes it through, it sets the stage for the eventual abolition of the Federal Reserve.

Ron Paul confuses me.If he is as dangerous to the PTB as everyone thinks, shouldnt he have had an accident by now?

Is he the NWO puppet being used as a catalyst to speed the start of the revolution? If it wasnt for Mr Paul most people would sleep right through it.

He has too much attention on him right now so anything happens to him it will raise questions.I can see the GOP trying to find a candidate to unseat him in the mid-term elections just to ease the fears of the Fed.
