Here are some prose and cons to the existence and non-existence of a God. feel free to add, if you so please...
If god exists:

Pros:

There is truly someone out there watching over you

for many, his/her/their undying unconditional love

a purpose/meaning in life

afterlife

Cons:

There's always someone watching you

Wrath

the monopoly of religion

never being able to understand him


If god does not exists:

Pros:

Free will as an individual

Free will as a species

Freedom from the monopoly of religion

Cons:

We are on our own

Morality becomes that much more difficult to define
