The thought dawned on me the other day. We should all start keeping daily journals. There will be things happening that need to be recorded correctly,by those involved.
There were many truths learned through diaries and journals in both the revolutionary and civil wars. The sacrifices to come need be remembered!!
The cause of freedom is just, and deserves notation.
The struggle from a patriots perspective!!
I used to do that, but discovered that I may not want to keep everything in writing. Too much intel for the opposition. On a positive note, we have available to us some VERY strong encryption these days, for electronic journals, if one takes the time to learn all the ins-and outs of using it, as well as the legal fine print (hint: never write a password down - anywhere. Written stuff can be subpoenaed. Stuff only in your head can't, and is under 5th amendment protections for the most part.) a bit of legal research is in order for your locality before relying on it too much. Assuming legalities still mean anything.
