White House to host Flu Summit

Among the people who attended were William Howard Taft IV, the former general counsel at the Department of Health Education and Welfare, and Dr. Harvey Fineberg, co-author of "The Swine Flu Affair: Decision-Making on a Slippery Disease."

This seems to me to be an obvious meeting to determine whom to vaccinate manditorily, how to deal with morbitity in hospitals and mortality rates, should they approach the levels seen in the Southern Hemisphere and Asia.

Federally-funded program, 200M vaccines total; first batch to be distributed at schools in October to kids; remaining vaccines available November (in USA).

As yet, the vaccines are being considered "voluntary". We'll see how long that lasts.
