At 12:34:56 PM 07/08/09. That's 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.

Is anything special going to happen?????

That would seem to be a good moment to remember!

Kind of depends on the notation. 12:34 PM is also 13:34, that doesn't work too well.

Sort of depends on the time zone too or is something supposed to happen every hour?

Oh, what about the International Date Line?

I'll tell you what. I'll buy a lotto ticket.

If the "correct" thing happens, I'll give everyone who responds to this thread 100 dollars.

I think it would be cool if this actually had some meaning behind it.

I do not typically correct people here; however, you are mistaken. I spent 8 years in the military and am quite familiar with the 24 hour clock.

Here is a breakdown of the 24 hour clock, I will use 34 minutes and 56 seconds after the hour as a reference for all:

12:34:56am = 0034:56

1:34:56am = 0134:56

2:34:56am = 0234:56

3:34:56am = 0334:56

4:34:56am = 0434:56

5:34:56am = 0534:56

6:34:56am = 0634:56

7:34:56am = 0534:56

8:34:56am = 0834:56

9:34:56am = 0934:56

10:34:56am = 1034:56

11:34:56am = 1134:56

12:34:56pm = 1234:56

1:34:56pm = 1334:56

2:34:56pm = 1434:56

3:34:56pm = 1534:56

4:34:56pm = 1634:45

5:34:56pm = 1734:56

6:34:56pm = 1834:56

7:34:56pm = 1934:56

8:34:56pm = 2034:56

9:34:56pm = 2134:56

10:34:56pm = 2234:56

11:34:56pm = 2334:56

The 24 hour clock runs from 0 hundred hours (midnight) to 2359:59 hours (11:59:59pm).

I apologize for being corrective, there was no disrespect intended.

To the op:

Nice observation, it will be interesting if something out of the ordinary does happen at this time. I look for patterns in everything and this did not even occur to me. Nice job!

I am curious if anything happened 100 years ago at this time? Recent history (within the last 250 years) is not a strong suite for me, but it would seem to be right around the time when WWI would have started; perhaps the first shot or something? I don't know but I am going to do a little reading and see if there is any correlation over the last 500 years or so. If I find anything I will add it here.

Also, in Australia it's 08/07/09. We display the date backwards down here - if we see 07/08/09, most people here will assume you mean the 7th of August.

We yanks can't seem to make up our minds.

Between being in the military and being a civilian, I've seen the dates written in more different orders than I thought possible. (Apparently we run into problems with time as well). Maybe this is why we blow at predictions...

You do still love us right?
