ATS for Dummies

Call me naive. Call me ignorant. Whatever. I say just call me busy and can't be bothered.

ATS needs a quicky glossary.

For instance:

HAARP
TPTB
NIST
SOHO
NWO
ROTFLMFAO
GFL

and countless other terms, acronyms or not. One of those listed I really did not know. I know, right!!?? I won't say which one...too shameful.

So consider this a WIKI for "special" people like me. Feel free to clarify mystery terms. Please. Or just confess your complete mystification at some of the ATS-speak.

Or maybe it's just me...

ok so I'm new

not new to chatboards but new to ATS..

what does flagging a thread do? and subscribing?

and what's that littlebox that comes up periodically DIGGS?

if anyone could fill me in that would be great TIA

Welcome to ATS!

You "flag" a thread if you feel there is quality content, a topic that members really need to be aware of and/or you heartily agree with the information or idea put forth by the thread author (OP).

You may "subscribe" to threads that you are interested in and want to follow as the discussion develops. By subscribing to it, it will automatically appear on your myATS screen, letting you know when a new post has been made to the thread. If you respond with a post to a thread you will automatically be subscribed to it and need not select subscribe as an option.

You may also "unsubscribe to a thread.
