Well I think that we're meant to watch everything.. It's human nature..

Anyways, the flares take between 40-80 hours to travel to Earth, so we're seeing the activity from the past few days to start catching up with us..

As for external influences on the magnetosphere, it's not fully understood - although it seems like there are MANY factors that affect it.

You know it could be possible if the crop circle was a warning...that 7/7 as it is interpreted could be the date of the solar event not necessarily the date of the impact of the solar event.

The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet on July 7-11.

1) Effects from a coronal hole could reach Earth within the next 5 days. When the high speed stream has arrived the color changes to green.
2) Effects from a CME are likely to be observed at Earth within 96 hours.
3) There is a possibility of either M or X class flares within the next 48 hours.

0-20% probability according to

www.solen.info...

ALSO

A coronal hole (CH373) in the northern hemisphere will likely rotate into an Earth facing position on July 9

Processed SOHO/EIT 195 image at 00:24 UTC on July 7. The darkest areas on the solar disk are likely coronal holes.

I think what you could be feeling is just the rapidly changing weather everyone seems to be having. I know it causes my joints to yell at me a bit but that's nothing I haven't felt before.

I wish I was..

I went from being focused and working at a fast pace, and then all of a sudden I got a wave of nausea and the headache at the top of my brainstorm increased..

Took some breaths, nausea is gone - but hard to focus with the headache..
Time to pop some advils.
