Long time reader - first time poster but this is such an interesting thread. Anyway...

1. Dream Theater - Metropolis Part I - Because sometimes a band gets it just right.

2. Van Halen - 5150 (The song, not the album) - Just one of my favorites

3. John Williams - Escape/The Chase/Saying Goodbye - An absolute masterpiece by THE master.

Well, I guess right now I'll add
F* Authority-Pennywise as my temporary #3 For a hostile situation.
either that or
Alien-same band as above for an "unexpected" SitX

Everyday convince myself of everything I can
and can't believe abused confused
Everyday you fee every crime just stare up at the sky
and wonder why afraid deranged
Hold on to your promise you can use it for a crutch stand by
while all your dreams are trampled in the dust
Leave now before your slick machines begin to rust
Last chance farewell among us
Everyday you get a little bit older and everything gets hard you wonder
why afraid deranged
everyday you feel every crime an endless shocking show
on the parade abused confused
Where are the Aliens?
We're the Aliens

F you blind B - kid rock Not the polyfuze version, the history of rock version, to get me pumped up to tackle the tough stuff or face confrontations with whining girlie girls

Double argh, the edit is still not working for me...wonder what I'm doing wrong. What I edited to say is:
I can't find a link for folks to hear it online. If anyone would like a copy of it, U2U me. =)
Sorry about the post right after a post. I have to figure out why editing isn't working for me!

And I have to add:
The Kill - 30STM
www.youtube.com...

The Kill lyrics
Songwriters: Leto, Jared;

What if I wanted to break
Laugh it all off in your face
What would you do?

What if I fell to the floor
Couldn't take all this anymore
What would you do, do, do?

Come break me down
Marry me, bury me
I am finished with you

What if I wanted to fight
Beg for the rest of my life
What would you do?

You say you wanted more
What are you waiting for?
I'm not running from you

Come break me down
Marry me, bury me
I am finished with you

Look in my eyes
You're killing me, killing me
All I wanted was you

I tried to be someone else
But nothing seemed to change
I know now, this is who I really am inside

Finally found myself
Fighting for a chance
I know now, this is who I really am

Come break me down
Marry me, bury me
I am finished with you, you, you

Look in my eyes
You're killing me, killing me
All I wanted was you

Come, break me down
Break me down
Break me down

What if I wanted to break?
What if I, what if I, what if I
Bury me, bury me
