Of course this is couched in complex diplomatic language, but it looks great that Russia and the United States are actually working together on this. It can be argued, of course, that both countries are arrogant in appointing themselves watchdogs of the world on issues of missile defense. But if we don't who will? Should we leave it up to China or Iran or Israel? The alternatives look worse than the present course of action.
