Every July 4, we retreat to fireworks, feast and festival in celebration of an independence that is rapidly becoming little more than a memory. Our ancestors declared their independence in 1776 from a tyrannical, overbearing government. The independence claimed by the authors of the U.S. Constitution helped them create a government expressly prohibited from becoming tyrannical and overbearing, by limiting its power to certain enumerated responsibilities. Those limitations have long been ignored, and the current government makes no apology for its overbearing tyranny.

DOD wants to prevent breaches of the peace and suppress affrays or unlawful assemblies. What are they gearing up for? Civil panic and unrest? More and more the United States is being compared to Nazi Germany. This should be cause for alarm. US policies are easily compared, in many respects that led up to horrific consequences. It seems our current Administration is following a Gestapo path to recovery. It’s apparently doomed to fail. It makes me wonder why they chose this path to destruction. We could have learned from the Japanese Recession. There are many roads we could have followed to get out of this mess. Why this route?

Just as American independence was foreshadowed by a tea party in Boston, America's new independence is foreshadowed by tea parties across the nation. There is more evidence that a new declaration is being drafted. Currently, 36 states have approved or are considering some form of state sovereignty resolution. Several states are following Montana's example, enacting laws that defy federal intervention. More than a dozen states have enacted or are considering legislation that prohibits the federal government from imposing a mandatory National Animal Identification System. These are symptoms of a society that is dissatisfied with the long train of abuses government continues to inflict upon it.

As the modern-day freedom fighters begin to organize and strategize, the government chooses not to reform, but to entrench and expand its control over the people.

The similarity is remarkable, between the rise of the Democratic Socialist Party now in control of Washington and the rise of the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany in the 1930s

Why do employees of the Department of Defense need the authority to execute warrants, make arrests and carry firearms? When the bill was introduced, Filner said: "We need to ensure that federal, state and local law enforcement are able to work together to apprehend criminals and to prevent and solve crimes."

Take a clue from the authorities granted by the bill:

To execute and serve warrants;

To make arrests without warrants;

To carry firearms;

To enforce federal laws enacted to protect persons or property;

To prevent breaches of the peace and suppress affrays or unlawful assemblies

There are other authorities, but let's focus on this last one: "To prevent breaches of the peace and suppress affrays or unlawful assemblies." What is an unlawful assembly? Any assembly that is not authorized by government is unlawful. Should an irate society decide to hold a tea party even if government refused to authorize it, then there must be a reliable federal law enforcement army to "suppress" the unlawful assembly. Local police cannot be trusted to "suppress" an assembly of their neighbors.

Americans can't comprehend the possibility that the federal government could ever become as oppressive as Germany in the 1930s. Think again. How many bills are now floating around that seek to either register guns or outlaw them completely? This was one of the first objectives of the 1930s German government. Once the guns were registered, the Gestapo knew exactly where to go to confiscate them.

Is this why the Democrats in Washington now want to create a federal domestic police force?

Obama's ego is too big to fail.

The difference (I hope) is that we DO remember what happened in Germany.

Just as long as there are more of us that remember than the sheep who still think that this governmentis going to 'save' them.

The US has never experienced anything like this is history before so there's not a lot to compare it to other than the similarities with Germany's same problems.

Our situation is worse than all of the above. This has global consequences. Do you watch the news much about The dollar. Like today India is on the bandwagon to ditch the dollar, as well.

We are entering a new Era, this isnt a fiction story; although I wish it was.

We have been in trouble with the Gestapo for a good long time now.

After all it was the Rockefellers and Harimans, and Bush families et. al. that financed the Nazi and the Fascist Movements, and their prominent politicians.

National Socialism is just what they want and have wanted for a very long time.

A corporate state. A corporate state that owns and controls everything including you and me, who are but one more assett to the corporation and it's productivity.

It's been a slow march to a completely fascist government, the Powers that Be forever have to be cognizant of the illusion of American Freedom and take things in baby steps, one step at a time, so people don't notice too much, or object too much, and they have been for decades.

Now like kids in the candy store they are so close to their ultimate destination they can taste it, smell it and feel it.

I have but one thing to all would be tyrants, despots, dictators and fascist scum bags...

Watch out for that last step...it can be a doozie!

Really? I actually made up "France in the 70s" just to see if you were paying attention. There was no major economic depression or collapse in France in the 1970s, but quickly accepted that there was one and that this was much worse. Somehow, I don't think you have the background in economics to say much of anything, and I think this is just more of ATS' trademark scare-mongering wherein, eventually, it's seen to be bull#.

See: John Titor, Bush suspending elections, any of the thousands of calls for martial law, any of hundreds of 'Aliens will make contact this Thursday' posts, the multitudes of "I was a brainwashed CIA assassin" threads, etc etc. Just more bull# that won't come to pass. Congrats.

Historically, however, we are seeing things that we have never seen before. The government takeover of our mortgage institutions, the banks, the auto indutry. Their attempts at cap and trade, their attempts at government run healthcare.
When, in the history of this nation, have you ever seen anyone in the (any) administration allude to veterans as domestic terrorists?
How many times in our history have you seen bill after bill after bill trying to negate the second ammendment?

Youre right. They can smell and taste it and we can sence it as well. It's getting very obvious.

The Bilderbergers are even coming out of the closet. The G20, as well. It's all lined up nicley and ready to impliment the agenda.

Now even India is on the "ditch the dollar" bandwagon!

What if I was the only person on this site who seems way "out there" that is actually being earnest and honest about what I claim? I'm sure no ET. I'm not an Indigo Child or whatever **** the government would have people believe. I'm here to inform not to receive attention or gain. I may be shut out by some and received by others but I don't want anything other than to inform for free. People NEED to know. Whether or not you believe in Christ and Yahweh is not the issue, the issue is learning to believe in Him, and that He does not afflict willingly. The issue is the End of Times affects EVERYONE at once. In the end it's all about love and a new beginning with our God. I assure you fully it is not Maitreya. He will promise a Golden Age. A Golden Age of a worldwide Nazi Germany with the help of what most people believe to be "extra-terrestrial beings." Are they from Planet blank from blank Galaxy or were they kicked out of heaven and fallen for experimenting with our genetics back in Genesis 6 and falling for women?

The plan is falling into place like in a game and it's going to be a happy ending when the Messiah comes to save the entire Earth from what is going to be coming. Until then we must hold out, and suffer Tribulations. Commit your trust to the Lord, and He shall reward you with perseverance and protect those who will trust Him like you would trust your mother or father. This is how we will get back to the Garden of Eden. Only this time it's forever and with Him just like Adam and Eve were along Him and the Apostles were among Him.

Wonderworld, you keep coming out with all these good threads, I assume you are a woman most of the women, I know there greatest concerns are things like if lips stick is right shade of pink.

You are so right on, and most of the people I speek with still believe in their Government, even if they criticize it.

In Germany many of the Bad men were good men, but even the lowly foot solider was a crule B##### once he had taste of power control, rape, murder, was nothing to them.

Everyone wants to be on winning side, to be better than everyone else, even now the police in America begin to look upon citizens as skum. Some are but not all, the police get programed looking down on all, well even half their brothers in blue are crooks.

And that hyperinflation thing, right now, those in control of world are all lieing to each other, they have to try and keep dollar strong because they all have to much invested in the dollar.
If one contry wants to buy somthing from another country first they must convert their currency to U.S. dollars.
If the U.S was not so powerful a smaller counrty, the dollar would have already bit the dust, the U.S. is laughing because it has rest of world by B###s.

I might die, but would not take off my clothes and go take a shower, I would take one or two with me, I hope there are many that feel the way I do. One thing is I am trained to do great physcal damage to someone, though I am nonviolent, I can hurt someone, alot of people could do nothing but die.

No… don’t bother to answer it was a rhetorical question as you can only been one or the other so my advice to you would be to get with the program; it has been plainly obvious for at least the last year or two that America was or is morphing into the fourth Reich and now that is nearly complete.

Wonder World you are spot on in your postings and I wish the best to every one of my American cousins who stands for the republic, for freedom. My heart aches for you all because I know that good people who have no desire to fight are being pushed harder and harder and soon they will snap and I will tell you all now; one man fighting for his/her home, family and freedoms are worth more than ten men/woman.

Just remember that only one percent of American people stood up in 1776 and this time I see even greater numbers standing and being counted. You all make me so proud and inspire us all around the world to stand and gain our own freedoms.

You guys truly are the last bastion of freedom; you go down and we all go down. Russia has made its stance clear; they know that a bunch of robber barons are running America and that if the people fail to take the country back they will attack. They know they cannot allow the new Reich to get a foot hold or else we can say goodbye sunny days and welcome to hell.

Thank you. Yes I'm 100% woman. Many woman are highly educated on economics. I dont claim to be. I drift off to Chemtrails, underground bunkers, etc because I have a relative who worked at area 51. Plus I have always been a science and mystery junkie.

I also worry about my lipstick and whether I'm having a good hair day.

I only worry because of the frequency of these grim comparisons to Germany. In 2007 none of us would have expected mentioning things like this. Well not me anyways. Things were prosperous and full of hope. We truly dont know how bad the economy is.

We need more transparency, regarless if it will cause panic and blood in the streets. We need some solid examples. Germany is not one of them.
