The so-called "Lujo" virus infected five people in Zambia and South Africa last fall. Four of them died, but a fifth survived, perhaps helped by a medicine recommended by the scientists.

I dont know if this story was already posted here before but what I want to know is that "what if this virus comes into contact with the A(H1N1)"? Is there a possibility that the A(H1N1) would mutate to a very different and/or far more dangerous virus?

Virus is a whole family of organisms. There are a lot of different types of viruses. So to worry that a certain extremely lethal virus would form a supervirus by merging with another totally different highly contageous virus is like worrying that polar bear would "merge" with rat and create a superhunter living in a sewers.
