Did Obama brainwash Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin?

<<  1    2  >>

Topic started on 4-7-2009 @ 06:17 PM by grapesofraft

I created a similar thread regarding Gov Sanford of South Carolina. Here is a link:
Did Obama brainwash SC Gov Sanford?

Now we start to see a pattern of Obama's enemies making foolish public decisions. This doesnt normally happen like this, and all Republicans.

Could it be true that he is either digging up dirt on them or brainwashing them in order to destroy their political careers?

Hey AggieMan how is it going?

I am just trying to throw this out their to stimulate some thought. Though I am guilty of Obama bashing from time to time, since I am not a fan of his policies.

Dont you find it odd that two of Obams's biggest political enemies who are both all over the news recently decide to make insand decisions.
1. Who runs around telling details about their affair and confessing to every sexual thought they ever had while they were married.. TO THE WHOLE WORLD. That just is not normal.
2. Who leaves their cushy gov'ment job 3.5 years before the next Presidential election. Most people quit at most a year or so out from the election.

Well you could have a point there. Most politicians are crazy and moronic. Nobody could disagree with that.

Yeah, and I bet that any "insider info." is breaking from the Democratic party and their PI's....just like the Republican party did during the Bush admin. It's all about political positioning. DESTROY the enemy....this has been a VERY common trend since the end of Bush #1 left office....it's easy pickings and there are4 just WAY TOO MANY media outlets now days...as opposed to the days of old...but I doubt that any of the Pres. ever specifically order peeps to dig dirt on their competition.

Yeah it does seem that both sides appear to try to destroy one another. It is like Clinton said "I'll fight until the last dog dies." I always loved that statement. Maybe we will get lucky and they will all kill each other off and we can get some decent people in there for once.

Yup! That is the nature of opposing sides....just use sporting events as an example...All those guys are frioends "off the field". But on the field, they will try to kill one another. Why? because they are on different teams. In politics, There are 2 dynasties...the Republicans...and the Democrats!

You are a wise wise man my friend. It is just a team sport with a little blood letting on the field. We all know it makes a good football game when both teams are going for the head or a better NASCAR race when there is a 40 car pile up.

You know I have actually become very cynical in recent weeks about the government, primarilly because of the Obama bashing on here. I am not an, what are they called... oabamamite, obamaniac, obamarama ding dong? *shrug* I thought the guy was interesting as the first president in a long time who could speak in a straight line and seemed to be diplomatic. Still I was under no illusions that he was anything but a politician with his own agenda.

So disclaimer aside, I can see the spin machine on this one trying to position the republicans as a party made up of "real people with real problems, just like you!". So they sacrifice a few names, get all the goods out there and then in 2012, they can step forward and say they are just regular, hard working, ordinary people like everyone else, not elitists like Obama and his crew. That's probably what is also splitting the republicans over all of this. Maybe some don't want to make the sacrifices needed for the spin to work and others just don't want to perpetrate such a huge and obvious fraud on the American people.

LOL, only an Obamamaniac could come up with that sort of thinking. I doubt it would be wise to make your top candidates look like a bunch of morons on live TV and then hope that they get the sympathy vote later on.

All I know is that the Dems have a lot of practice and doing this. They have accused George Bush of every evil thing on Earth short of raping his own mother... Ooops, better not give them any new ideas.

So I would expect them to try to rip apart any threats to their dynasty. Little do they realize that it is their own Socialistic policies that will be there downfall after we start getting taxed for all of this crap they are shoveling.

Heh, well, I don't know anything about the SC Governer, but Gvr. Palin did not come across as a threat to me. In fact, if I were a democrat, I would WANT her to be on the ticket because she looked like a token female candidate to most people. This is not me just babbling. I live in Texas and most people I spoke with who were conservatives (prolly about 90% of the population here) thought she was a bad move.

As for my comment earlier, I apologize if it came across wrong. I don't expect that they would expose their *top* candidate in such a manner, although doing it this early certainly makes it very easy to overcome, but if they have someone else in mind, they can benefit from the loss of others. Honestly, I wouldn't expect anything differant from any politician.

And, I reiterate. I am not an Obama supporter. I don't have any feelings for the guy other than he presents himself well. I really don't like the monetary policy in place. It is a foolish and rash move cause by the desire to get reelected in 4 years. I think his diplomacy is interesting, but it's not truthful. He is playing the truth close to the chest and putting a show on for the public. And to be quite blunt, he is not showing himself as a fiery, strong-willed leader with a vision. If anything, he is the classic overswing candidate that happens when the electorate gets tired of the politics of one party and swings too hard to the other side.

I will agree with that!!!! She was SO RANDOMLY SELECTED...Yeah right...she was "CHERRY PICKED" to ofer the other solution to "CHANGE"...that option became: 1st Black vs. 1st Female....definitely staged, preplanned and SO DESPERATE!

EDIT: But who wouldn't be desperate after 8 years of Bush wiping his A** with the constitution...The Republicans had no option left except to offer their version of "change"...enter________(Palin). A VP that represents change....give us ALL a break...offer her as the Presidential candidate and we are having a completely different conversation right now.

Good post and a star for you. Sorry If I came across a little jerky.

Personally I dont care for Palin, but I do think the Dems are obsessed wth her. Watch MSNBC and how they fall over themselves trying to make her look like a fool. So obviously something about her puts fear in them. I beleive it is because whether we like her or not she is a dangerous candidate because she attracts women and large numbers of white males.

I say give Sarah Palin 3 1/2 years to gear up for 2012 and she'll be ready to take on any Democrat called to clean up after Obama, the stuffed suit of the TPTB. She's done will against the abuse hurlled her way and with 3 more years of dealing with it, she'll be ready.

I've lived in Alaska and its not for the weak and meek. Roads end at the city dump and if you want to go somewhere, you take a plane or boat.
Obama couldn't live there. Wusses are allowed up ther at their own risk.

I've also lived in Chicago, without a doubt the most corrupted large city in the United States. "The Boys" are involved in everything in Chicago. And that's where Obama come from, corrupted politics. Give him a few more months of financial disaster and he'll be toast. He's well on the way and with Geitner we are all in big trouble. Both these dudes are light weights. Real lightwieghts.

The guy "talks the talk" but doesn't "walk the walk". He's a 1 termer and I'll take bets on that.

Like I said, he's a good speaker but wears TPTB's empty suit. The TPTB will destroy America as we know it and hang it on Obama.

I wouldn't want to be in his shoes. I'd rather be in Palin's.

oh please, the MSM dont have to work to make her look like a fool, they just have to let her be her own stupid self.

The women with a degree in journalism that think a question about what magazine she read is a hard one.

The women that belive in abstinance only sex education, but have a pregnant daughter.

She also have near 0 knowledge about what is going on outside her state. (Weee, africa is a country)

She barely appeal to the most right nut fringe of the political spectrum (maybe 20%) yet you would like to beleive that she is Obama's greatest treat.

She is a joke. And not a funny one at that.
