I've seen a couple of terms here that I'm not familiar with, and would appreciate it if someone could define them for me, so I can understand what's being said.

Those terms are "chavs" and "neds".

Thanks to the internet I do not, I really only trust what the 'people' of America say, not their government or the media.

Britain is a mess because criminals and thugs have human rights and the rest of us don't.

In Leicester, a man who protected his property and children from violent thugs with a bat, was imprisoned. The thugs also threatened to rape his 7 year old daughter.

So who did the Police choose to prosecute?

Was it the thugs?

No!

Was it the man attempting to defend his property and love ones?

Of course! After all this is the UK and we only care about the human rights of BAD people!!!

This story is repeated all over the UK regularly. You only have to open any newspaper to discover the startling truth that the UK is being dismantled brick by brick.

So, the next time someone tells you how bad the UK is becoming, understand that this is being permitted and encouraged by the Police, the Judiciary, and the Government!

They are basically kids who wear clothes a certain way, talk a certain way, basically everything they do is stupid and repulsive haha, a lot of people in the uk hate them call them scum of the earth.

Chavs are only a certain type, compared to more normal people they are more likely to have fights or beat people up for fun, hang around and do nothing except curse at random people for fun, like my mother or your mother, but a lot of them are very weak looking and really are full of fear, thats why they hang in groups, usually when they get pregnant they may leave that way of life, but the attitude remains haha. Or more to the point they lack good social skills.

But there are many other types of gangster wannabes and more worryingly the more serious types who are more violent, stonger looking and to the point, no games, no playing around or fun, straight to the point stabbing or robbery.

All these different types can depend on what area they live in, slightly different culture in each area. From lowprofile to more extreme behaviours.

Now even with these kinds of people, I never generalise, there are always good people among the rest, in the middle of it all, simply growing up in that culture, only taking the apperance but not the way of life.

Why would someone want to own a gun?

This right wing press ranting was a Gallup Europe survey among inhabitants of the European Union about their experiences with crime and law enforcement.
We all know how polls can be manipulated to suit an agenda.

One of the problems

-warning. . . this is only my opinion, not shared with anyone with half a brain. . . warning-

One of the problems with the younger generation today is that they have not had boundries set by their parents. There is no 'moral' standard, there are no rules that they have to obey, they have been given too much freedom. Especially at an age where they are not able to handle that. This applies to UK and US both. And these 'chavs' or punks are growing up to become criminals. They are growing up to become more wards of the state. More people on the dole.
Violence is easy. It requires no thought. It is an easy way to get what you want. Instead of looking at a new car and saying, "I'm going to own one, one day if I work hard". They are saying, "Why is that #er driving that car? I want that!"
Perhaps things will have to get worse before they get better. Perhaps kids (here and there) will have to see what hard times are really like before they can really grow up.
In the mean time, I am going to be a crusty old man (just in my 40's but if you ask my eldest, I'm a dinosaur) and instill hard work, as a means to get what you want.

Belgians have no guns yet crimes are low in this country so your argument doesn't hold water, the reason why theire is so much violence in Britain goes deeper into society philosophics and society structure. Not because they don't have guns.

I've been to a couple of other european countries and the youths there were very nice and polite overall in comparison. Infact most countries have pretty cool youth culture, they may like the ganster rap etc, but it doesnt seem to get any deeper than that.

OP.... Funny how the crime rate in the UK is at a higher rate then any other European Country, South Africa & apparently the USA!!!

I wonder if these new stats have anything to do with all these Europeans & Africans moving over here makes sense to me if you think about it logically!!!!

Obviously if all the ones committing crime are moving here the crime rate will go up!!!
