It's not a bloodhound SAM is it?

www.airforce.gov.au...

As for what happens in Woomera, maybe a U2U to OzWeatherman is in order, he lives and works there now.

There are 4 countries testing their own "black" (publicly undeclared) aircraft out at Woomera. It includes the UK. I'm assuming that it's in the mix.

Thats the gossip at the moment.

This was tested at womera

Ah yeah, I've read about the UK doing UAV test flights out at Woomera.

Perfect spot for such tests really.

www.subbrit.org.uk...

bloodhound battery at RAF Holmpton/Patrington

believe it or not but at least 1 country is still using the bloodhound mk2 - Burma - in 1994 Singapore sold there entire system to them

www.burmalibrary.org...

the swiss airforce finally retired the system in 1999 - although they are in storage for possible re-activation.

personally i would love one , or even the road mobile version the British Army`s Thunderbird

and finally:

2 video`s of the bloodhound in action
