Aloha bro, America is a free country with Free Speech as protected by the 1st Amendment of the U.S.Constitution....discussion, debate, and dissent are rights and necessary to a free society...If you don't like it..don't read it..or move to Iran/N. Korea/China etc or any other communist country openly run by tyrants...If you want to ban something...try Ban Roll On Deodorant because censorship STINKS...P.S. The 7/7/9 crop circle hypothesis/predictions alerted that there would be solar activity and eclipse that day/time period..not a total meltdown..or the end of the world as we know it..just a shift in awareness/consciousness...and a marker of the 1260 day countdown prophesied in Judeo/Christian Biblical texts...so please take it easy..and in the words of a 12 step text.." Our SERENITY is inversely proportionate to our level of expectation.." so if there isn't social/technological chaos after a prediction, don't be disappointed..be GRATEFUL!

I disagree with banning hoaxers.

First people here on ATS learn from hoaxers.
we learn how to spot hoaxes.

Just look at the Isaac CARET - Drones
a lot of us learned a lot about how a hoax could be done.

And you also have many people that find interesting stuff on the Internet and post it on ATS not knowing its a hoax.

A lot of this would not get posted if people here were afraid they might get banned.

Even the government puts out hoaxes like there story that 90% of the guns found in Mexico are from the US. We found out that the true numbers are about 17%

This site provided a lot of information to prove that was a government hoax.

There is even a lot of information on ATS that shows that global warming is a hoax. A lot more then the media will ever print.

How can we deny ignorance if we ban topics/people and don't debate them.

I don't mind the hoaxes as much as the date predictors of doom, or the Rickrollers. And Rickrollers covers a wide range of anyone who's OP doesn't match the thread title.

Lets make a list of the hoaxers and publicly humiliate them on ATS. Have a mob mentality and literally hang them here. And display the remnants of their user id that was destroyed.
