well, guns are illegal in England and there are a lot less shootings, percentage wise obviously because they are also a lot smaller.

If guns were illegal it would be harder for the average joe like these two to get their hands on one. but you would have to take it all the way and make sure no one has them, not even the cops. But its way too late to do that here in the US, everyone already has a gun, they would have t take them by force and that wont go over well at all.
So yeah, I guess thats why its so controversial.

The UK has more violent crime than the US and guns are outlawed in the UK. Sorry, but your argument holds no water. If banning guns worked then there would be less violent crime in the UK and that simply isn't true.

Guns don't kill people people kill people. It's as simple as that. So banning guns doesn't do anything except let the criminals have free reign to do whatever they want.

please read the link that you provided as to the reliability of those statistics, also the comments at the bottom of the page, they do not hold water, not even 1000 murders a year in england, what is violent crime? different for us than you. but at least we dont die.

I just find it all very weird why parents would take their kids to learn how to use such weapons of WAR. this aint playing round with a cap gun here. Why expose your kids to this type of thing?

Our guns are like your tea and krimpets..

I havent the slightest feer of someone walking down the street where I live,as most i would say are law abiding citizens..I dont go into the citys where hoodlums give 100 bucks for a throw away gun out of the back of a trunk..

Big difference..We need to crack down on illegal guns..

My brother had his house robbed,taking all his guns..They were legal shot guns and a few bolt action rifles..There probably in Camden or Philadelphis right now in a crack house..

My legal shot gun in my bed room will kill the robber looking to harm me and my wife,and stopping them from making my guns illegal..And there fore reducing inner city gun murders..

Guns are to protect the citizens against a tyrannical government and people hell bent on taking what freedoms you have.

We have a constitution for a reason. JUST READ A HISTORY BOOK.

When we as a society don't need police and courts then we will have no need for guns.. I don't see that about to happen. Until then hope for the best prepare for the worst. In the end your fam. will prevail.

Well for starters, this is a perfect time to teach the young ones gun safety. If you start teaching them to properly handle firearms and not shoot themselves or their buddy by fooling around. You also want to remove the fear of firing a weapon that way if the time should come (God Forbid) that they have to take action and use a firearm, then they are ready and can take aim and shoot to disable/kill the bad guy.

Now, if it was just a bunch of retards out their not caring how the weapons were handled or not teaching the children safety, then I would say it is bullcrap and should be shut down. But it looks like a well controlled range and families bonding together. Some families enjoy certain hobbies and some enjoy shooting. I have every intention on teaching my son proper gun safety and getting him on the range shooting once he gets a little older.

First off I think the video was not of a family but a gun organization that charges people to come shoot. I cannot remember the groups name, but I've seen articles in gun magazines about it. Man that looks like fun

Second off that garbage about Japan and sword hunts. That is why you have nunchaku they are a derivative of a wheat flail Japanese peasants improvised and made weapons out of tools.

Or all the countries that require adults after mandatory military service to keep and stay proficient with their rifles? The problem with firearms in the US started I'd say in the 20th cent. Organized crime caused the Tommy Gun {which you could buy at sears} to become illegal. Since that happened firearms of all types became BAD Once upon a time here people hunted to help put food on the table and were responsible. Now most folks go the chain market buy their chemically altered meat. What will you do when the shtf? Me I'll take a rifle and kill my food. Ohh and before anyone says how cruel that is Ask yourself this. Is it cruel for the animal to have a chance or sit in it's pen and wait to die?
