From the contest OP:

Contest ends August 5th when the full moon sets in the west (we'll give a 6 hr break to Europeans because it sets earlier there).

It's August 5 and the moon has risen. It should set here just past midnight, so there's still a little sliver of time to enterinto the (IWWC).

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners and a huge thumbs up to those who made honorable mention.

This contest was so full of talent it was amazing. The judges also did a fabulous job, though I don't envy their task. It must have been incredibly difficult.

Thank you very much! I really didn't think I was going to get first place. There are allot of great stories here. Congratulations to everyone who entered a story! They were all awesome. Now we have our hands full with the next one.
