I'm sorry but I just cannot fathom people making excuses for a bunch of 12th century barbarians that seem to only know murder and torture.

You talking about the Americans' or the Afghani's?

Sorry, but the view is the same from both sides of the war.

peace

Is history important?

After all doesnt history have the intendency of repeating itself?

So how can everyone be wrong?

Show me proof.

You're hilarious. History repeats itself because people get so preoccupied with political and ideological BS of the moment that they ignore it, and repeat it, and when they get caught with their pants down as a result they attempt to rewrite it to justify their actions. History happens as quickly as the seconds pass...You ever wonder why there's such a high remission rate for prisons? Aside from the politics of course...

History is there to warn us, and to show us how far we've come. Not to justify going in the opposite direction when it appears convenient.
