Came across this on youtube, as soon as i saw it, i said wow!

i dont know anything really about photo editing and all that, i would love to hear from the more experienced members (in the photography editing field) and anyone else with an opinion as well.

the first 10 second or so is just banner, but after that it shows a very interesting photo of the Mars ruins that has been rendered in 3d. (might be using the wrong term there)

so what do you guys/gals think, fake? real?

p.s. if you visit the youtube link you can watch it in what youtube call's HD (not true HD to me)

Interesting but we need more.

What image was the taken from and how did he arrive at that rendering?

good question i wish i knew more to.

i think it may be these structures here but i am not sure, so don't quote me on that!

This isn't video editing it is 3D rendering. Unless the artist had actual elevation (height) data, this is nothing more than imagination. He made a simple 3D model (based on what?) and laid an image from Mars over it. He could have used any shape at all.

I don't there is any Martian elevation data of that detail available. Without that, it's bogus

Never heard of him before, but there are too many popping up with no source and nothing to even followup on.

So where in Alaska are you? Can you slip over to Poker Flats for a couple pictures?

There is no way to plot the height from just a 2d pic.

Id like to see the mars viking data for that exact region.

With New and Improved "No Evidence or Source for His Material WHAT-SO-EVER!" What're we gonna give him today, Johnny?

"A Whole lot of nothin' Bill!"

But seriously, did he really think that creating something without giving anything to back it up at all would get him anywhere? Kinda silly, don't ya think?

At first glance, they look like the trenches dugged by Phoenix:
www.nasa.gov...
in this case, we would be talking about some lilliput like ancient civilization.
Anyway, in absence of scale is just some meaningless 3d play.
