This isn't video editing it is 3D rendering. Unless the artist had actual elevation (height) data, this is nothing more than imagination. He made a
simple 3D model (based on what?) and laid an image from Mars over it. He could have used any shape at all.
I don't there is any Martian elevation data of that detail available. Without that, it's bogus

in this case, we would be talking about some lilliput like ancient civilization.
Anyway, in absence of scale is just some meaningless 3d play.
